Alaiye Resort & Spa Hotel

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Clean, rooms spacious, staff very friendly. Great atmosphere. Food delicious. Day bar one of the best I've seen in all inclusive hotels. Lots of shops just walking distance, 2 minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

I loved this hotel, right down to the food and staff. Cleanliness: hotel is exceptionally clean and staff take pride in looking after the hotel. Rooms are changed daily, with fresh towels. The pools are very well maintained. Only issues, the toilet outside the restaurant needs to be cleaned on a half hour basis or a lady in there continually as it’s the main toilet. As this can be unbearable to use at busy times. Not all the taps work too. Staff: staff are friendly and accommodating. They really go out of their way to look after you. Name staff- Fatima cleans and looks after us with extra bedding and towels Yusuf is the ‘Lone Ranger’ at the bar. He makes amazing cocktails and mocktails, and with crushed ice. At times he is so busy, but is always happy and accommodating. Ercu at the bar is also brilliant, both yusuf and Ercu really looked after my friend who has health issues and hence needed lots of ice. Same with the other staff, they really accommodated her well, large glasses with ice to the top for a fortnight. Yunnus at the reception bar needs to smile more and accommodate more. Food: there is an excellent choice of breakfast lunch and dinner. Snack bars are dotted around the complex, queues go down quick. The food is excellent quality, you can eat to your hearts content. The ice cream is a thick creamy quality, the soft drinks cola cola is original, none of this black syrup stuff you get in some establishments. Praise to the chefs as they cook good tasty food. The choices are amazing. And Onur the waiter. Fresh bread of many varieties is cooked at each meal session. Waiters will even get you drinks if you are eating so you don’t have to get up while eating. Their is a salad bar, and everyday is a different selection of food, so you get to try different things. They also have different cuisines and cater for children with chicken nuggets and chips, spaghetti bolonaise. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and is stunning. The beach is clean and you have a choice of water sports which you can pay for. The hotel is very child friendly. Entertainment is geared towards chidren the first half of the evening, and adults the second half. They foyer table has sweets, and a drinks machine as soon as you walk through the front door. WiFi can be a bit slow in the rooms, however you can get a temp contact with one of the phone companies in the town. Rooms are pretty much sound proof with the doors shut. I cannot wait to return. I had an amazing time. I highly recommend this establishment. I also loved the way they treated people with disabilities. Ottoman night: Soup starter: Was delicious. Very tomatoey, with slithers of lamb. The cold dips were nice. The feta cheese did not taste of feta. However the salsa and tsarina was lovely. The fried mince balls were delicious. Hot and crispy on the outside, with just the right balance of meat and coating. Main: the lamb was cold/Lukewarn, so was not my favourite. The rice was lovely. Dessert: was a blueberry cake of some sort. It was not a sponge and more a whey cheesecake. I was not keen on the textures however two of my party loved it, and two did not, so for us it was hit and miss. Tbh after eating at the al a carte places twice, I would stick with the food in the main restaurant. The choices are better, the food is hot, and u just take what u want and like. That is what I would do on my next visit. Oriental a la Carte Starter sushi, very nice Wanton soup not like. Small doughy balls in a beef stock. Not what expected. Fish and chicken starter, fish was not crispy and Luke warm. However was tasty. We all had mains steak, with noodles and sticky rice on a bed of vegetables. This was lovely. Steak was soft and the veg was lovely tasting. Desert was fried ice cream. This was great
