Akti Palace

We are visiting at the moment following losing our holiday to a 5 star hotel in Turkey via Thomas cook which we have visited 6 times. Trying to be constructive here at Atika lovely hotel, food is lovely and there is a buzz about the place.Bar staff are excellent as are buffet restaurant and beach side restaurant.Branded drinks are available. Spa is excellent and staff friendly and helpful. I agree with the last review the sunbeds around the pool are extremely uncomfortable. We are fortunate enough to have a pool at our room and the loungers there are very comfortable so we tend to move there in the afternoon. Rooms are lovely however bathrooms very small and shower screen not big enough the water goes everywhere. We have visited all 3 A la carte restaurants and they are definitely under par to the Cornelia Diamond hotel we holiday at in Turkey. The Red Elephant was definitely the best, staff were lovely and nothing was to much trouble, the service was excellent and food delicious in a lovely environment. The greek restaurant was good but not as good as the Red Elephant. Tonight we visited the seafood restaurant, on arrival I had the wrong paperwork as I had lifted a previous one which we had not been asked for, head waitress very brusque and not keen to listen. Eventually we were seated, we were offered 1 bottle of wine for 4 people which we had to top up ourselves, couples got a bottle and we were not offered any more. The taster plates were delicious but we were in and out of the restaurant in 45mins I have never eaten a meal in a restaurant as quickly in my life. There was no atmosphere, the service was robotic it appeared they were desperate to finish, would definitely not recommend this restaurant and will not revisit. As far as everything else goes I would rate this hotel 4* it most definitely is not 5* which we are used to.

Currently staying here and I can not fault this hotel! The layout of the hotel is lovely surrounded by gardens which are well maintained. It’s also very clean. Modern touches and a relaxing atmosphere. George the porter on arrival will show you to your room which is a lovely touch. Reception staff are very informative on arrival and are there to help with any queries at any time. Hotel room - very clean throughout which is cleaned daily, the chrome taps in the bathroom are always gleaming. The towels were replaced daily also. The room is a really good size with plenty of supplies of tea, coffee, mini bar which was restocked daily. Pool area - large pool with plenty of loungers, they are mainly wooden framed with canvas, the pictures so show lounger cushions but they are only on the beach loungers. The wooden loungers ARE comfortable if you position yourself correctly. The pool area is lovely and quiet even with children there. There is a pool bar and restaurant. The selection of food on offer daily is brilliant with no time restriction. Beach area - plenty of loungers available with the padded cushions, there are sand bags in the sea to assist you getting over the large rocks, the water was perfectly clear and brilliant seeing all the fish. There is also water sports provided at an additional cost. Restaurant - there is plenty of seating indoors or outdoors which is spacious, lots of staff constantly working hard and offering to provide you drinks, the staff are very efficient. There is plenty of food choices which differs daily, the pizza is amazing. There is also 3 seperate a la carte/set meal restaurants which you need to pre book. We sampled the Asian and the Greek and they were both absolutely amazing. I highly recommend. Bar area - the bar staff especially Thanos work extremely hard providing the guests with drinks. These are ordered with Thanos at your seat and he will fetch them for you. We would quite often go and get our own drinks as this is what we have to use to but they do like to wait on you at this hotel. I would definitely say this hotel is 5 star to the European standard. I highly recommend a stay. We plan to return as we enjoyed our stay so much. A massive thanks to all the staff at Akti Palace

Just got back after spending a week at Akti Palace hotel with my partner, i can honestly say it's the best sun holiday I've had! Needed a relaxing break and that exactly what I got. The scenery surrounding the hotel is totally breath taking, the room was lovely and very modern. If you like snorkeling then you are in luck as its a fantastic little spot for it with an abundance of fish, we even saw a Lionfish.The hotel has it's own private beach where the sun loungers are all free. The food is 24 hours a day which was really good and the cocktails were totally amazing. I was lucky enough to have a shared private pool with 3 other people and it was pure bliss. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice chilled out vibe. If you want a lively atmosphere however then this might not be the place for you, although Kardemina is only 10 mins away and has plenty of bars. Myself and my partner also did the Jet ski on the private beach which was totally awesome and worth it!
