    ABOUT THE HOTEL

    • Official Rating

With a pool and a beach on its doorstep, lazy days and splash-based fun come as standard at the Sacallis Inn Beach Hotel.

Another wonderful stay with the Sacallis family. I can’t understand people who have a complaint about this hotel . If you don’t have enough pillows or crockery why don’t you just ask for more? The owners and staff can’t address something if you don’t tell them. I asked for extra pillows last visit, and by the time I got to my room they were on the bed ! I didn’t need to ask this time either. Everything is done to make your holiday special. Can’t put in to words how safe and comfortable everyone there makes me feel. It’s the only place I would go by myself. Location, food, cleanliness, friendliness...... all 5* for me. Have a good rest in the winter guys. You certainly work hard enough during the season.
Great value hotel in fantastic location for quiet family holiday

We stayed in a family room (2 adults, 2 children age 13 & 11) for a week in October. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with a lovely view across the bay. The hotel has a traditional Greek taverna with the most gorgeous fresh local dishes. There is also an Asian restaurant but that was closed when we were there as it was the end of the season. The owners and all the staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The rooms were fairly basic but very clean ( fresh towels/sheets every other day). Our room had a tiny kitchen with a 2 plate job and small amount of crockery but not enough to realistically self-cater....but not a problem for us as we had planned to eat out. Kos island is a great location. We spent most of our time in Kefalos (swimming, pedalloing, sun bathing) but had also hired a car and went to Kos Town & Kardemena - the roads are very good.
    Perfect 2-week holiday

We have just come back from a lovely 2-week holiday in this hotel and I could not fault the place. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful; our room had everything we needed and the hotel was kept spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel is perfect – right on the beach with a short pleasant walk to other amenities. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and will be going back again.

GREAT VIEW but ............. that's all And rare, I evaluate the bad, and publish! When it is good I have to comment so that others do not miss the opportunity! When it's too bad, I really have to comment and post, to warn the unwary who, like me, avoid going through the displeasure I've been through! We started with the chek in, reception abandoned, 15 minutes waiting, until I decided to call the hotel to find out how to do it. Entrance area, reception, bar and I think breakfast area with kitchen service for them, with obvious signs of long time, empty bandit and tables with yellowed tablecloths Unimaginable bathroom, sitting on the toilet with feet inside the shower (shower) as pictured, one week without changing bedding, towels changed once in 7 days, cleanliness can deduct, one day smelled of bleach but only the smell for stained hair and toilets, toiletries only for the first day. Poor breakfast and repetitive fruit ... just tinned fruit salad, and bad taste. WIFI was longer than it was downtime I had a dinner in the hotel and yes it was acceptable with a friendly and helpful staff but it was the exception the rule! because from then on the service was done without great professionalism in relation to sympathy, it was only for education. Poor wine cellar with unofficial drinks Espresso acceptable. Farewell, I had to check out at the bar because the reception was abandoned
    A friendly place to stay

We have recently returned from a 10 night stay at this friendly hotel. With its beach front location this hotel offers excellent views across the bsy. The reception area is bright and airy with plenty of seating to relax in at the end of the day or whilst waiting to be picked up for trips or return to airport. If you arrive late you may need to go down to the bar area to get someone to check you in. The majority of rooms have a sea view, some more than others, ours had a full panoramic view and the sound of the waves in the store was a very relaxing sound at night. Though the rooms are compact and have set rooms, rather than a bathroom, they are comfortable and let's face it your only going to use it for showering and sleeping because the rest of the time you will be in the sun or dinning out. The balcony or veranda has a table and chairs with room to stretch out. If you want either a kettle or fridge in your room these are available at a charge as is the air conditioning and safe. The pool is small and has a limited number of sun lounger though there are plenty on the beach, again at a charge, or just spread you towel out on the sand. Breakfast is of a continental style and is adequate, most people should find enough to eat. The two restaraunts attached to the hotel sell a range of dishes, that big that two people could share one,. The bar area has plenty of seating and offers a range of local and international brands. All the staff and cleaners are friendly and helpful with some speaking English better than others. Our overall impression is that this a relaxing place to unwind.
