    Pulled up against a private stretch of sand, with a swim-up bar and al fresco showers, the Kantary Beach has been designed with relaxation in mind.

    This beachfront hotel has a real away-from-it-all feel – you’ve got the Andaman Sea and tropical hills for company. When you want to get out and about, Khao Lak is a 15-minute shuttle bus ride away.

    The suites here are all about bringing the outside in – huge sliding doors lead out to private balconies. Opt for a villa and you’ll find open-air showers, too. Living areas decorated in earthy tones, kitchenettes and flatscreen TVs all come as standard, though.

      These suites are generously sized and come with a separate bedroom and living room, plus a large balcony complete with sun loungers.     Stayed in January for our 2nd visited (visited Jan19 previously) and once again found the hotel and entire experience outstanding We stayed in a villa (1155) which was excellent with a big comfortable bed, great bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower. There is also a comfortable lounge and useful kitchen. The villa was kept very clean We stayed on a full board basis and the food was exceptional. Great breakfasts and both Thai and European dishes at lunch and dinner.. Three evenings a week were themed buffets. Hygiene standards are very high and we can't speak too highly of the staff who are all highly efficient and friendly Reception staff were very helpful and friendly The beach is fantastic with loungers for everyone. The hotel provide plenty of towels which are replenished regularly. We love this hotel so much we have already booked again for January 2021

    Staying here is a pure pleasure, we stayed in one of the villas and were more than satisfied. Big spacious villas with nice bathroom and outdoor shower. The hotel staff is very friendly, except for our meeting with the guest relations. She did not seem as serviceminded as the rest of the staff considering the non friendly greeting we received and that was sad considering it is her you want to ask questions to and book taxis etc. But overall our stay was enjoyable to the fullest. Good breakfast and great location and if I have the possibility I will come back. One wish is that the pool service is more frequent so that you can order drinks straight from there.

    Our 4th stay here and it's just as nice as ever. We've been coming here on alternate years and have never been disappointed. We were pleased to see our favourite waiter restaurant Captain Komson or Bond, James Bond! The pleasure of sitting down to breakfast looking out to sea is wonderful as are the breakfasts themselves. Everything you could wish for and more. The staff are delightful, the beds are comfortable, there's plenty of hot water with a lovely shower and enough beds on the beach to suit everybody. There is a lovely cocktail bar with beautiful night time views across the bay where you will pay a bit more but it's worth it on occasion. This place wouldn't suit you if you want to walk into town, it's a 15 minutes drive but there are regular shuttle buses (not free) or tuktuks. But if you like the peace and quiet and long walks along the beach it's perfect. There are plenty of good restaurants along the shoreline at reasonable prices as well as juice bars. There are lovely snorkelling day trips available but please don't go on the elephant bathing trip as these magnificent creatures should be in the wild and they are chained up at night. I went as I thought they were just looking after retired working elephants but was upset to find out that they breed them in captivity and then train them and you can only do that with cruelty.

    It was amazig, the Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Nice personal and very attentive. We had a big suit with kitchen, livingroom and a big balcony. Everithing was modern and well decorated. We had a very good time, we would like to come again.

    Just arrived home from our second trip to the Kantary Beach. 9 days are utter bliss. All the staff are incredible, they go out of their way to help you. They are so kind. The location is better than anywhere we have ever been. Pure white, wide sandy beaches. The food is amazing. We stayed B&B this time. Can't wait for our trip next year.
