The Golden Tulip Hotel is in the centre of Krakow and near Planty Park. It is also really close to the Old City and there are several tram routes running near the hotel to different parts of the city.
The staff at the hotel were really welcoming and able to provide information on the places I wanted to visit in the city and also gave me a map which was really helpful.

I would recommend this beautiful Hotel,why? Well, where do I begin,let's start at check-in,extreemly friendly,helpful and welcoming staff on reception,clearly explained where our room could be found,guided us to the lift and showed us where the resturant/breakfast was and times of serving. Pleasant hotel. The hotel its self was beautiful and modern but I felt the rooms were old fashioned. The shower was temperamental as it would be either very hot or very cold. The room was all dark coloured too so it gave the old fashioned feeling slightly more. Great location though as it was only a 10 minute walk into the main square. A group of 10 friends stayed at this hotel at the end of April during our visit to Krakow. Like the title states perfectly situated only 5 mins walk to main square for bars and restaurants.

We stayed at the golden tulip hotel when we recently visited krakow, and I must say what a wonderful time we had. Located down a quiet side street, it did not seem to have much when we entered, the reception is very small for a hotel with 80 rooms however its not exactly a budget hotel but not the most expensive.
