Aska Lara Resort & Spa

Left hotel 19th march, the day before closing due to coronavirus. Stayed for a week, the service and staff were out standing. Drinks very good and flowing. Great range of food, generally of a good standard but can be luke warm when hotel is very busy. If you only like British style food choice is reduced but you will still have a decent choice. Great place to experiment and try small portions of different food to extend your pallet. I went with my 24 year old, he's not a fish fan but he had different style fish most days (enjoying all but 1). Lots of stew style dishes that don't always look good but are very tasty loads of different chicking dishes, the veal and pasta are top class, salad and veg range vast along with the desserts. The best part of the hotel is the staff and the service, the management should be proud. Especially of one of the waiters who was very friendly, entertaining, hard working and loved by the customers but had a telling off because of he showed his character which is deemed not professional (shame). Only one outdoor pool open with the indoor pool, both were well used due to water well heated. Night club not the largest with Russian and Turkish music ( shame would have like some english music) but still enjoyed it every night. Three bars open when we went and all different, 2 finish at 11:30 which is when night club opens. The other one closed around 5 where you can get sandwiches coffee as well as cocktails and beer. The British were a minority, Russians majority with Germans and French making up mixed except when conference rooms being used by the Turks. Everyone mixed in well and had a great time except for one Scotish women who got aggresive at the end of the night club due to the drink which caused the night club to close the following night under pretense of coronavirus. The one downside except for that scotish woman is the resort, I am not a fan of Lara Beach, this is my view. But most of the people I met, did and we did meet a lot of people. Unfortunately due to the resort it's unlikely I will be back, shame. Thankyou again ASKA Lara for a great holidays and I hope your great staff are not out of work for to long.

We are currently in Aska lara now. We are here to celebrate my 50th birthday on friday On our arrival we were made to feel welcome, and quickly located to our room (1133). On entry we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. All facilities are provided. The bed is so comfortable, the shower is lovely and there are even slippers provided. The view from the balcony is OK. ( it faces rhe street) but we're not here for a balcony. The room is spotlessly clean, and the mini bar is stocked every day. The housekeeping team are polite and friendly The food is amazing, I cannot see why people complain, there is something for everybody and loads of it. The catering team do a amazing job, such a vast array or tasty food and desserts The pool and grounds are spotlessly lean and well maintained. They work hard to keep it this way. The reception team are helpful and attentive and willing to help at all times. I really cannot say anything negative, about this awesome hotel Sadly, due to the coronavirus situation, the hotel will be closing on Friday 20th until April 27th. We will be relocated, which is disappointing, but as yet do not know where. The reception team are keeping us updated with the ongoing situation. It's a shame they aren't staying open, and relocating people here instead. They wouldn't be disappointed. We will definately be returning here regularly. We come to Turkey every year, but this is the first time in Antalya, it will not be the last. We love it But don't take my word for it, come and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
