The rooms are decent. No blanket or comforter on the bed.
The problem: the Fremont Street canopy directly adjacent to the hotel. And , of course, they give me a room facing the boom boom music emanating from there. They know this a big problem because they have ear plugs in the room. Guess what: ear plugs cant block low frequencies.
So for the contempt they show their guests they get a crappy 2 star rating.

Staff is excellent.
Our room was worn and cleanish. Very good bed
Air system caused everyone to cough and sneeze way too much.visible debris when turned on.
Filter needed service badly.
Mold in bath grout . Heavily spotted carpet that made any light soxs dark.
Main reason for one fellow traveler was to swim with the sharks.
Special phone call to hotel assured her that the pool was fully operational. BIG LIE . ...

I've been staying at the Golden Nugget since 1989. Best casino in downtown, but the hotel experience has been awful for the past 8-10 trips. This past experience in the Carson Tower had a room with paint chips in the bathtub, slow draining sink, and a water drip coming from the ceiling on the side of the bed. We were moved to another room but didn't realize until we walked in that it was a handicap room. We deci...

The Golden Nugget is one of the nicest hotels in Downtown Las Vegas. It is a clean, vibrant, friendly hotel. The rooms are nice, though our room had the window blocked out and that was a little bummer. The hotel and casino can get crowed but it's just a "happening" place. The food was pricey compared to other downtown eateries so I'd suggest taking a stroll down Fremont street when you get hungry....

Ive been to Vegas a few times staying at the Four Seasons, Wynn & Flamingo. The nugget was in my bucket list, stayed here for 3 nights & I loved it! Wished Id swerved out first 3 nights on the strip and stayed here for our full 6 nights.
We stayed in the Rush Tower, West End Suite and the room was lovely. Very spacious, comfy bed, lovely bathroom with rainforest shower. The view wasnt great but we wasnt planni...
