Holiday Village Atlantica Kos

On the whole our Holiday in Kos Holiday Village was great. As all the other reviews the main issue is sun beds or lack of. And the kids playground could have done with a bit TLC. Staff were really helpful and fun. We went on one of the day trips around Kos which said was kid friendly. Which wasn’t. The lady doing the tour was very knowledgeable. But the locations were not buggy friendly. And we didn’t stop for lunch till 2.00pm which we had to rush.

We had a great 10 nights here in October 2017. Our room (with sliding partician) was perfect for us & our 2 year old. We had plenty of room, towels were restocked daily even though we hung them up to keep them more than 1 day & house keeping were lovely. Most hotel staff were brilliant. The odd one here & there in the restaurant seemed a little moody but there were many who were wonderful. Bar staff will generally knock up what you fancy if you look after them (a couple of euros here & there). The chap who runs the shop is such a nice guy & happily repaired our sons float when we accidentally tore it. He’ll repeatedly tell you about his children ☺️. The splash pool & facilities were perfect for our little boy & the TUI staff were amazing. Within a couple of crèche sessions they all knew our son by name & high fived him on site. Needless to say he loved his time there (as did we). Only criticism is that the crèche was a little too babyish for him. He would happily & confidently gone into the next kids group up. Cannot fault the food, certainly not the variety. They do have a children’s section but unless you have a fussy child who only want nuggets, chips & burgers, the main area choice was plentiful. There are several pools to choose from & a lovely relaxing spa. The beach is 30 seconds across the road & absolutely worth a stroll over to. Just watch out for horse riders on the beach, not the safest of ideas when children are running about. This makes a great resort for families. It was very clean & we will definitely go back. .

Traveled with my Husband and 2 years old, stayed there for a 2 weeks end of September 2017, had a lovely time, room was nice and clean, we stayed in the duplex area, food was nice, they have a good variety, every night they have a different type of food, staff was lovely, always smiling and making sure everything was in place. Drinks was ok, limited cocktails (that was a shame) local beer and spirits. Only thing that bothered me was the playground, that was not safe for young children, my son fell over and had a massive cut in his elbow (hard & pebble floor) I think should have soft floor like bonded mulch, anyway...beach was lovely, they provide beds and parasol.
