Lovely holiday,hotel was definitely value for money. Comfy beds, nice rooms . Food something for everyone lots of choice...entertainment team work so hard. Lovely pool areas and food available anytime from 10am pool side. Fab hotel.

My family and I (2 adults, 1 infant) have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Mirador Maspalomas and overall have enjoyed a great holiday. Firstly I would like to debunk a couple of the more off-putting reviews on here; 1. Cockroaches. During the entire stay, we only ever saw 1 of them and it wasn’t in our room or the dining area. 2. Sun loungers. We had no trouble reserving sun loungers without waking up early or fighting for them. We did stay out of season. 3. Watered down drinks. Definitely not! I’m a bloke with a very high tolerance for booze and whilst admittedly it isn’t top quality stuff, I did not feel I had to drink more to feel the effects! Moving on.... The hotel itself is in generally good condition, cleaners are very visible throughout the day and the hotel appeared clean throughout. As mentioned in other reviews there are some minor cosmetic issues but these really don’t impact on your holiday! The rooms are fine, basic and clean. The air conditioning was definitely an issue for me and I had to shell out the extra €70 for an AC unit which I feel I really shouldn’t have had to do in a country that is perennially quite warm. The hotel staff are very ‘neutral’ shall I say... not rude or difficult but certainly do not go out of their way to help. Very consistent with a 3 star hotel. Food is a bit hit & miss. Perfectly adequate for just filling up for the day or snacking, but by no means fine dining or an ‘eating out’ experience. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, selection of fresh breads and the ice cream. If you are taking young children, maybe take cutlery for them as there is only full size cutlery available. A highlight for us was the entertainment for both adults and children. The entertainment team are very upbeat, friendly and engaging, providing a mini disco nightly followed by a more adult orientated act. Overall a great holiday at a hotel I would recommend, but for the money we paid I think we would seek out a 4 or 5 star hotel in future.

Just come back from a week at this hotel and I can honestly say after reading all the reviews before we went I was very pleasantly surprised. We were a group of 14 adults and after reading the reviews some of the group got up at 6am to reserve sun beds because we all wanted to sit together. Because of the reviews we had read. This was very unnecessary. We could have gone at 9 and till got beds all together (which we did for the rest of the week) and never struggled. The food was very get what you pay for. You could eat at any time of the day. The breakfast was nice, the snack bar was great. Hotdogs, burgers, toasties Fromm 11 till 4, lunch was always fresh and tastie as was dinner. It’s not gourmet but your not paying gourmet prices so shouldn’t expect it. The drinks at the bar were good, help yourself to beer and soft drinks and go to the bar for anything else. Top tip. If you have a cocktail out of the pre mixed machine. Ask for extra spirits in it. They are happy to oblige. The rooms were of a good size and clean. They are warm but if your at the back of the hotel there not too bad because they don’t get the sun. The cleaners don’t do a lot. Basically just make the beds everyday. The entertainment isn’t up to much for adults, it’s ok for kids tho. All the staff we encountered were nice and friendly. All in all for what we paid for the hotel we couldn’t really ask for much more and we had a fab holiday.
