The good, the bad, and the ugly

The Ugly; Never, EVER use the hotel parking, it's unsafe, the space wouldn't fit a large golf cart, there will be damage to your vehicle.
The Bad; Pool is closed indefinitely. One person only at front desk means long waits and they are not helpful. A guest in our party had a copy of their passport (plus a driver's license), were told they would not be admitted without an original. Front desk was going to kick out ...

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, thanks to the excellent service from the entire team. The hotel was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was impressive, offering everything from a full English breakfast to continental options. The pool area was great, complete with bar service. I had the most wonderful stay at Catalonia Hotel in Murcia. I went to celebrate my birthday with a city break and could not have been happier with my choice. The staff could not have been more attentive, sweet and generous! From speacial treats to a gift brought to the room, I felt positively spoilt!

A lovely hotel in a great location with friendly helpful staff. The superior room with terrace is just superb and a hotel with a swimming pool in the centre of a city is an absolute bonus. We cant wait to come back & have already booked another stay....

Centrally located great stay in Murcia

This property is a 10 minute walk from the Murcia railway station in the centre of town with access to many of the beautiful sites in Murcia. The Murcia Cathedral and several other Murcia sites are within a 5-10 walk from the hotel and many eating places in the neighbourhood. The popular supermarket Mercadona is a 5-minute walk away, should you be keen on picking up some snacks, too.
