Lovely hotel

Stayed here for 5 nights recently as in Murica for a friend's wedding.
Lovely hotel on the outskirts of the city, about a 15-20 minute walk away from the main sites.
Taxis are reasonable as is the circular bus which stops outside and takes you down in a couple of minutes for 1.
We arrived early, but we managed to check-in, which was an added bonus.

The location is in a commercial area of the town so its a bit of a trek to the old town where the restaurants are. Breakfast is OK but tne scrambled egg looked euch! If you want freshly cooked eggs ask the waiter for fried. Fresh fruit would be seasonal so a bit limited but plenty of it. Coffee is poor.
Pool area is fine I didnt try the gym....

Disappointing stay.

Disappointing. Long wait on arrival to check in. Huge hotel often used by delegates to the Congress centre. Tourists at the week end. Rooms are very spacious but dated. Bathrooms are huge with separate shower and bath. No details in room as to restaurants/ menus. Whilst the pool was open and well patronised, the pool bar was closed, which was rather annoying....

We read many of the reviews about this hotel before we travelled, and was a little nervous about the many bad reviews I read, but I needn't have worried! This hotel if lovely.
Yes, the rooms can look a little dated, but this is the only slight negative I have. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were more than adequate for our short stay. We had 2 rooms on the 1st floor with a balcony, overlooking the road...

Hotel was great, rooms spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a balcony room in the 5th overlooking the pool and hotel ground which was fab. Pool area was great, thought it would be difficult to get a bed as not a lot of them, but this wasnt an issue as a steady stream of guests coming and going.
