The area around the hotel isnt the best to look at but we always felt comfortable and we never had any issues. The Hotel itself was great the people were extra nice . The room was cleaned and fresh towels every day . The breakfast was ok ....

We had a fantastic stay at hotel colombo we stayed for a week the rooms were spotlessly clean and were cleaned every day. The staff were super friendly always happy to get us a drink from the bar and were on reception 24/7 so you could leave your key with them then you didnt risk losing it while your out and about. I'd seen things about the area being unsafe but we honestly didnt find this, the hotel is literally 10m...

Im giving the hotel 5 star review as it deserves it due to location to train station and metro, the friendliness of the staff and their helpful nature. Room is basic but clean and bed was comfortable, ideal base for our trip to Rome, Sorrento and Amalfi coast for 5 days. Breakfast each morning was tasty and the men working at the hotel couldnt do enough for you. The only draw back is that when you come out of the m...

Hotel was NOT great for a 10 night stay!
VERY dirty and undesirable area, didn't feel safe around the place, our room overlooked what could be described as a dark alley/street..somewhere we wouldn't like to walk given to the activitiy going on there (no need to alaborate) very noisy too!
Breakfast could have a lot better choice not much at all so resulted in buying elsewhere!

Hotel Colombo is a great hotel just in the wrong location, the staff are superb, very helpful and super friendly, the rooms are always clean, you get clean towels and bed made daily. Ok as a Brit the continental breakfast could be better but we would book this hotel again just because of the staff. If you want a hotel on a budget then this is for you....
