Our stay was very comfortable

The hotel is an old palace and the communal areas were beautifully decorated. The breakfast was excellent and I also had a lovely salad in the evening in the bar. The barmen on both nights were excellent and helped us choose a lovely local wine. The hotel was very conveniently situated and so we were easily able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. There was a lovely outlook from our room.

I struggled with rating this hotel. There was just something that made me not make it a five star and I couldnt put my finger on it.
Pros:
- easy walk to the train station if you have a small suitcase - but this area is not for everyone
- good buffet breakfast
- large room
- rain shower head so that you didnt have to hold a sprayer in the shower
- quiet room (didnt face the street)
- friendly staff

I booked a room at the Palazzo Caracciolo on 9/1/2025, within an hour of placing the reservation my flight to Naples was canceled. I contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation with no response, I then worked thru the Hilton Honors Diamond desk in efforts of cancelling the reservation with no luck. I was charged full fare ($357) with no response ever from the hotel. Buyer beware. DR...

Amazing stay here at palazzo caracciolo, Napoli. Staff was great. Gennaro at reception was wonderful. There were a few others too, not sure of there names. Very friendly and helpful. The gentlemen outside and the guys bringing our bags to our room were wonderful. we will definitely return when in Naples....

Lovely Brief Stay at Palazzo Caracciolo Hotel

The room was elegant but I was only there for 4 hours because I had an early flight back to the United States the next day.
Our group had a lovely reception with drinks and appetizers on the beautiful 4th floor outside veranda accompanied by live piano music.
There are caves that I stumbled onto while looking for the reception.
They are interesting but very musty smelling.
