Disappointing from start to finish

First impressions were awful, the lobby looked like a building site. We were checked into the wrong room and the A/C didnt work, so maintenance had to come up. Despite this, we were told there was no availability to move us and had to spend the night there anyway.

Convenient choice for a short trip to NYC

The location is the best: 15 minutes walk to the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, Metropolitan Opera, Columbus Circle, Central Park, designer shops of the 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, MOMA, Times Square, many theaters and the plethora of restaurants.
We had received a free upgrade to the two queen beds room on the 15th floor with superb views of the Hearst Building. Unfortunately, the room was dated and the sink...

Not bad and would stay again

Stayed 3 nights before Christmas, and checked out on Christmas Eve day. 2 travelers - a dad and his adult son. Got a room with two double beds. Room is adequate but a bit on the small side for a Marriott. Really not enough room to get out of bed on one of the sides of each bed, but it was OK with only one person per bed. It was OK for two people in the room, but I cannot imagine how 4 people would stay in the room be...
