This was a standard Hampton Inn located close to Penn Station. We got in late, so needed to grab a room just for the overnight. The room was very small, but neat and clean. Nicely decorated lobby, and a friendly staff made for a satisfactory short stay....

We have just got back from 4 nights staying here. Booked due being near to Penn Station. Location was great!
We had a 2 x double bed room that overlooked the front of the hotel. Yes it was noisy but it is in the middle of the city!
The room was clean and warm. Comfortable and exactly what we needed and expected for the money.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Madison Square Garden on a business trip with a group of high school exchange students. I originally booked two rooms, but upon arrival I realized the rooms were much smaller than expected. Because of this, I asked about adding a third room to better accommodate my group.

We arrived around 12:30pm and were able to check in early. Room w/1 king bed surprisingly large for being a hotel in NYC. Breakfast area was very busy, but the staff did a great job keeping things well stocked. We had a 4pm train departure on our check out date and our small roller bag was able to be kept in a secure area while we explored the city. Very friendly staff!! Would absolutely stay here again....

The staff are helpful, kind, hardworking!! The breakfast was warm and good each morning. There was plenty of options and lots of coffee!
There was only one small elevator that worked for 18 floors! We often had to take the stairs up and down many flights!
Our room was clean! The hotel needs a decor update in a big way! It is located so near Madison square garden and Bryant Park!...
