We loved this place. The rooms are super clean, the bed confortable, perfect temperature in the common areas and room. We found NO WAITING on the elevators (maybe a minute) and everyone has been super kind. Special shoutout to Rocky and Henry!...

The lobby is small with only two lifts, this is expected with the footprint of the structure.
Staff friendly, room clean.
Latitude restaurant nice.
I did not like people not staying at hotel hanging outside of lobby, drinking alcohol and a strong smell of weed....

Disappointing stay due to rude staff and poor security plus unexpected credit card charge

I stayed at the Holiday Inn New York City - Times Square on May 17-18, 2026, after booking and paying in full through Chase Rewards. While the location is convenient for Times Square, the overall experience was very poor.
The hotel has 35 floors but only 2 elevators. Expect to wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator, especially when checking out, or be prepared to take the stairs.
