Room a little small but perfect for our trip. Hotel staff were helpful and polite. Room cleaned daily. Yes there were homeless outside of hotel who gave us no trouble at all. They always said hello and most mornings we bought them a hot drink and had a chat with them....

The hotel was clean, my room was quite small, but adequate. Everything was fine until the water stopped. I went without water for 12 hours, then without hot water for over 24 hours. The front desk seemed clueless as to what was happening. They could provide no guidance or any alternatives. They said the whole hotel was without water....

Stayed for 4 nights. In an excellent position, very central. Clean rooms and not a bad size at all for a city hotel. Room.service daily. Two lifts and we never had a problem getting one of them. Reception helpful. No problem with homeless people outside the hotel as these people are literally everywhere in new york and the odd ones we saw outside the hotel caused no issue at all. Great location, beautiful view from the 35th floor. Hotel wise it was great. Room was a little small, but expected for the city. It was clean and the lobby smelled good. Yes, Homeless was on benches outsidebut again in the city. The smell of Weed was present everywhere not just at the hotel..its legal there
For our trip it was great. Would stay again....

If you check in at night or come back to your room at night expect to see that all of the benches directly outside the hotel's front door are occupied by the homeless who are allowed by the hotel to sleep there. There were garbage bags of their belongings everywhere. Additionally there were 10-5 transients sitting on the benches smoking pot and high as a kite.
