The Beacon is in a great upper west side NYC location - surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, excellent supermarkets; it's a 10 minute walk to Central Park West and a block from a subway station. The staff are very welcoming - every time you walk in - the rooms vary in size but for us, a 1-bedroom apartment, provided a great amount of space - which can be a bit rare in this city. Beacon Hotel is a great place to stay

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood across the street from Fairway, a gourmet supermarket.and nearby restaurants. There are also fast food places nearby on 72nd Street. It is near the subway and bus stops on Broadway. It is within Easy walking distance to the Museum of Natural History and a short bus ride across the park to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

We all really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Beacon. We are a family of five, and stayed in a 2 double bed/sofa bed suite on the 25th floor. A veey comfortable room. Plenty of storage space, very good facilities in the kitchenette, including microwave, kettle and gas hob, with coffee pods, tea, sugar and longlife milk packs provided daily, and room cleanrd daily and towels changed. Great location and well appointed hotel

We stayed at the beacon hotel upper west side for 10nights
The position of the hotel is great a short walk to Central Park; lots off local restaurants and the underground .
We found the rooms to be well appointed and it was lovely to be greeted every time we came back to the hotel after being out.
We also had fabulous views!!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York!!...

Overall, a good option in the UWS

If youre looking to stay away from Midtown/Downtown and enjoy the lovely Upper West Side, this hotel is a really good option. Our room, a King Suite on the 17th floor was quiet and surprisingly spacious. Couldnt hear street noise at all with a room facing Amsterdam Avenue.
