We were greeted quickly and politely and given a key to a room. The room was not the room that I had reserved, which had 2 specific elements that I had specifically researched, chosen, and paid for (15th floor or higher & King size bed).

Lovely Stay in the Upper West Side

We enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at the Beacon! Our room was clean, well maintained, and met our needs perfectly. Check-in was a breeze and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the upper west side, making it easy to visit Central Park and a number of fine museums, including the Guggenheim and the American Museum of Natural History. Fab location near sub way and easy walking distance to attractions Inc Central Park.

Booked Hotel Beacon for a week long birthday stay 12/2-12-9. Upon check in the front desk lady was very rude and annoyed I had asked for a third key. Bell staff have been the only consistently kind people. We were charged a total of $9,170.00 and that included an additional fee to be on the renovated 23rd floor.
