We booked a room here not knowing that the entire street in front of the entrance of the hotel is closed. When we called the hotel upon arrival, they told us the road closure had been going on for A YEAR and that we "should just park in a lot and lug our bags to the hotel." I am not a fancy person, but our room cost $700 for one night and for that price I would have picked a hotel that at least had the option of unlo...

We had room 2911 which had two double beds and a lovely view of the skyline.
On the whole we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the room wasnt too small and the bathroom was a decent size too. We liked that they had mini fridges on request and that they had a choice of iron or steamer. In the room it was super quiet and there were good black out blinds for a good nights sleep.

I had an amazing stay at Moxy NYC Downtown 5 out of 5, without a doubt! After browsing through thousands of hotels in New York City, this one really stood out to me, and I couldnt have made a better choice. From the very start, everything was just perfect.

Not worth it

Ive stayed in New York many times, but these rooms are tiny even by NYC standards. I felt like I was in a prison cell after four days. No closet, only three hangers, and not even any surface to set your things on. One evening the elevator wouldnt accept anyones key card to get to their floor. And inconvenient to have to take two separate elevators to get to the room....

hotel location is fantastic, hotel was clean and beds comfortable.
The check-in process was a nightmare. The front desk area is extremely small and was crowded, not a smooth check-in process to say the least....
