Great Concierges, but a massive hotel that has challenges at full capacity

Sharing the positive first: Exceptional customer service from the Concierge's desk from Nathan, Eugenia & Anthony. I only stay at luxury hotels & had to stay at this hotel due to the Macys day parade- they provided service on level w/ any 5-star hotel in & outside the country.
This is a massive hotel & at full capacity w/ the chaos of the Macys day parade, it presented many headaches. I'd never sign up to stay here...

Beware - elevator modernization is resulting in a very unpleasant experience

The hotel is centrally located and convenient to many popular locations. But beware that they are modernizing their elevators, resulting in ridiculously long waits. Not much fun having to endure a Lord of the Flies battle to get a spot on an elevator for the duration of your visit. Instead of discounting to compensate for the trouble, theyve gone the other way and imposed a $35 daily resort fee....

Incredibly disappointing, overpriced and dirty!

This might be the worst Hilton I have ever experienced and I am a diamond member of Hilton Honors. We paid absolutely outrageous rates for 6 rooms for our family during Thanksgiving week. The rooms are in desperate need of an update. You can see the metal bedframes and the built in cabinets look like they date back to the early 70s. Our bathroom was disgusting. Amazing Parade Views and Outstanding Staff

We had a great stay overall. The room was very nice and perfectly located for watching the parade truly an ideal view. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and I especially want to highlight Anthony from the concierge team. He went above and beyond to help organize a birthday surprise for a family member, and it absolutely made our trip.

When we arrived Anthony very kindly gave my wife two tea bags snd arranged for a kettle to be sent to our room, however no milk or sugar was provided. We went down stairs and spoke to Maurice who was closing the bar. He provided a ceramic mug and several pots of milk. Excellent customer service from both....
