Could not fault our stay in this lovely hotel just off Times Square. From the moment we arrived, it gave off a lovely Christmassy vibe with stunning decorations and a warm, cosy feel.
We took the elevator to our room on the 9th floor, which you needed your key card to operate so excellent for security purposes, where we found our room to be spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The only down side was no kettle but ...

The staff were amazing - 5*,
check in was smooth and efficient . Even when I misplaced my passports the guy on check in was super calming ! Checked in so quickly after this
The room was spotlessly clean , and we had the floor we requested and balloons all set up for our daughters 30th birthday and with an amazing view on 29th floor !

A very warm and friendly welcome after a 7 hour flight and an hour transfer from the airport in a very chatty New York driver.we were checked in promptly and our luggage was kept for our room to be ready.Off we went to Reys pizza shop for a well deserved meal.Thanks to Diana at the reception for a great service to organise our late check out time.Also thanks to Freilin for connecting me to the WiFi.

My wife and I visited New York for 5 days and stayed at the Riu Plaza Manhattan in Times Square.
The hotel was great, it was clean and the rooms were plenty big enough. We didnt experience wait times with the elevators, even given we were on floor 31 and it was Black Friday/thanksgiving weekend.

Great location for time square and subway. Very easy to get to from JFK, after getting the airtrain to Jamaica, and then you have a selection of subways to pick.
Rooms are spotlessly clean and cleaned daily by an amazing cleaning team, there are no carpets so great for asthmatics.
Lifts can be slow in the morning but once your aware of it, it makes it easier.
