Hotel is pretty new. Location is unbeatable. Literally a few steps to the times square. Next to the Hershey World. A short walk from Harry Potter and Lion King broadway theatres. Housekeeping did a great job. Bed was comfortable. Family deluxe room was big enough to open 2 big and 2 small luggages. View of skyscrapers from window was great. Did not try their breakfast. Excellent location. Right in the centre and removed enough not to allow the noise get to you.
Another lovely RIU, not quite as big as the RIU Plaza New York! But gorgeous all the same!!
We had a room on the 22 nd floor, modern and comfortable. It was warm enough given it was artic whilst we were there!
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly!
We will definitely be back!...

Upon check in no one told me that in order to turn on the AC/electricity in the room your key card must be inserted at all times. Upon learning this, we decided to leave the key in while we were out. We were gone for hours and returned to find our room was 80 degrees. Called the front desk and they sent someone up to help fix the issue, they were in and out a few times but the room never cooled. we were delighted with this hotel, in terms of location, which was spot on for the square , centra park and all the sights. The room was the best we had during our 2 weeks in the states. Everything you needed in the room, hairdryer , iron etc. The room was very comfortable after a long day around NY , shower was also first great.

We had an incredible stay at the Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square! The hotel was extremely clean from top to bottom. We stayed all the way up on the 37th floor and were pleasantly surprised that we had absolutely no issues with slow elevatorsthey were fast and efficient every time.
