I am saddended to write a poor review as I was excited to try a Wyndham property. I have traveled the world and have never had so many shockers in one visit. First off Check In- The hotel was fully booked when I arrived and I was told check in was 3pm and I could store my luggage. As pictured this was the sight of the luggage storage. Needs Update/Cleaning

Location is convenient, but the hotel needs a major update and cleaning. When checking in, they made a photo copy of my credit card and put the copy in an open stack of papers on the reception desk which made me very uncomfortable. Area around hotel the is questionable, and very loud at night. I would not stay at this hotel again....

After visiting New York City many times and having stayed in some very fancy hotels in Times Square, I found that this hotel was more than suitable for my needs at nearly half the price per night. I found the room to be comfortable, the shower was lovely with good pressure and the heating/cooling worked with minimal noise.

TRYP was an ok place to stay in NYC and it was walkable to most places. Their restaurant was fair- its a shame that breakfast wasnt included. Room was clean, heater was noisy during the night. Bed was relatively comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly....

Money taken from account not just room hold fee

We booked tryp by Wyndham as previous experiences elsewhere have been good! I expected this to be the same.
On arrival we laid the £150 holding fee, which was fine, this was on my debit card and I was happy for this to be held there until we departed.
The day after I noticed £299 go from my account, then day after that £398
