I usually stay closer to Bryant Park, but I couldn't find anything reasonable for my party of 5. Fortunately, I ended up at the TRYP, just a couple of blocks away, and it was perfect.
We had the Family Premium Room: 2 bathrooms, 2 queen beds, a bunk bed, and a sleeper sofa that would typically require 2 rooms elsewhere for more $$$. While I'd love to give it 5 stars, the rooms, though not outdated, weren't quite on ...

After reviewing A LOT of hotels near Times Square, we decided to go with TRYP. We were a little hesitant because of some of the reviews, but we had 5 to the room and did not want to get two rooms. So we decided on the Family Premium Suite at TRYP and were not disappointed! First, the location was perfect. The hotel was perfect for our family vacation. It is super close to Time Square (a couple of blocks).
The family room was very spacious and I would highly recommend it. It fit our family of 4 children (teen and older). We didn't not feel crowded at all.
The staff was very accessible and helpful with recommendations and directions....

Crystal is the Heart of TRYP!

Great service by the joyful Crystal! The front desk needs support during busy periods at check in , but other than that if you are looking for a clean comfortable hotel located in the heart of the tourist zone I would highly recommend it! And yes the pillows were great along with the bedding and products in the bathroom. Toilet paper was military grade..

The hotel is in a prime midtown location and the front desk staff is friendly but my room was not very clean and severely needed to be updated. There were several mystery hairs in my bed, the water in the shower was not always hot, and there was an air conditioner in the window with a piece of styrofoam next to it to block the air. A Wyndham hotel shouldn't be using window AC's and if they are, they definitely should...
