The good is the location. Also the bad is the location. That good is probably the only good. Police station and very loud. When they put ear plugs in the room, tou know. The room looked like it had been recently redone but it was done so shabby. It looks like something the guy on Craigslist will do for cheaper. So bad. OK, after seeing all of these negative reviews I was hesitant to stay at this reasonably priced midtown Manhattan hotel. I shouldn't have worried. This Wyndham property is literally located along the A-C-E lines on West 34th/Penn Station and convenient to all major attractions in the city. Furthermore, it's situated right next to the NYPD station - what could be safer? It's like having your own private guard statione...

Dont fall for the Samsung Experience rooms. Its just two tvs with crappy sound and one remote. As a rewards member I cant name one reward I got. Everything cost extra. Wish I went somewhere else....

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay at TRYP by Wyndham Times Square South was extremely disappointing.
We arrived after a long drive with our two young kids, and what should have been a simple check-in turned into a frustrating ordeal. I dropped my wife and kids at the hotel while I parked at a nearby garage, but despite calling to authorize her to check in, the front desk refused. She was left waiting in ...

Wonderful experience! Great location, big room that sleeps 8 comfortably with 2 bathrooms! Clean. Nice staff! Near subway entrance & across from police station, so felt super safe....
