Best hotel for the room size, location and price point in NYC!

My family of 6 stayed at the TRYP last week in NYC. The location made it easy for us to use the subway, buses, trains. It had plenty of food choices nearby. There is also a CVS just one block away for anything you need. This hotel is right next door to a police station, so we felt very safe with cops always being on the street outside. We had a family room that consists of 2 queen bed, 1 bunk bed and sofa bed. We eas...

I chose this hotel because of its location to Penn Station and it did not disappoint. It was two blocks from Penn Station and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. My room was quite big for a NYC hotel with two king size beds and a desk area. My room and the hotel overall was clean and was perfect for the two nights I stayed there. I would certainly recommend it and would stay there again....

I stayed at this hotel in March 2025 for business. My colleague booked this trip and has left a review (see below) detailing the issues myself and both colleagues travelling also had with this hotel.

ROACH in shower!

AWFUL!
There was a roach in my shower and the owner/manager has yet to respond to my request for a refund! Find a different place to stay. NOT a good choice!! This is a franchise and it was VERY subpar. SAVE your money and go somewhere else! TRUST ME!!...

Pros: Extremely good location, very close to a lot of spots, staff was pretty gentle and polite, I was able to store my luggage until the check-in starts, the room was clean, new and with a wide space and so was the bathroom, everything was well lit and comfortable.
