Elba Lucia Sport & Suite Hotel

My sister in law and I visited this hotel,we have been back nearly a week.On first arriving we thought this is going to be lovely ,but it is more suited to the 18 /30 age group. Staff are lovely although not enough of them they work really hard.Room was good kitchen area sitting room and bedroom,bed changed once, towels only twice in one week yuk. Pool area only have static brollies and not enough ( no shaded area around pool not even to have a drink) we are early birds so down we went to get our spot we had to wait from 7.45 to as late as 9.15 for the man to come with his bucket and key to unlock the beds ,we were not the only ones waiting all were complaining.The sun loungers were filthy we never saw them hosed down or the pool area , pool had a scum mark that needed scrubbing, if it was a bath you would not get in it ! Pool snacks are a pastry full of air ,you cannot get lunch at lunch time around the pool area you have to wait until 3 o’clock.Food was okay it is a 3 star, first holiday I haven’t put weight on yeah. We only stayed in for 1 night that was karaoke started at 9.30 finished at 11 bar shut !! only place to go is back to your room ,guests were not happy security guard went around telling guests to be quiet,as you can imagine that went down well with all ages.Again no bar around the pool on a night, tables chairs twinkly lights music STAFF that’s all it would take ,we were on holiday ,there were 2 bars inside no air conditioning,both with no personality,nowhere to sit outside and have a drink only if you smoked.This hotel has all the potential of being a good hotel but it needs a good shaking up ,come on management you have good staff just get more of them and use the space you have ,ask yourself would you holiday here because I won’t again! I have never done a review before but I felt I had to this time. We were not the only ones to feel this way,I am not a complainer but this holiday has been a huge disappointment to us.

Was looking foward to staying here as the reviews I read said it was great food and great atmosphere, the wasn’t really anything to do in the hotel at night, the pool is kept really clean and tidy and it’s a nice place to spend during the day it was just crap on a night, the food wasn’t good all the I lived mainly chips Every night we paid all inclusive but found ourselves eating out every night I wish I just paid for self catering for the amount of money we spent on the holiday! Me and my partner won’t be returning here, lovely island and the staff are great just a shame really
