We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Scarabeo. What a place! Everything was amazing including all the staff. We were lucky to stay in one of the three duplex apartments with a private pool, well worth the extra. The entire complex was so clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Just returned from a weeks holiday with friends who had stayed here previously and highly recommended and it didnt disappoint. We received an exceptionally warm welcome upon arrival from Irania and Mara who run it as well as all the other staff. The rooms were a fantastic size, spotless with all amenities. All previous 5 star reviews on this site are correct. This is truly exceptional accommodation. Spotlessly clean throughout, the most comfortable bed and pillows i've enjoyed in over 50 years of travel and excellent power shower made our room perfect. Me and my mum visited this hotel for 10 days in August. We absolutely loved it! Its a lovely, quiet hotel which was perfect for us! The owners are such lovely people and nothing was too much trouble for them, they even gave us complimentary welcome drinks on arrival. Fantastic holiday at the Scarabeo. Quality of accommodation and level of hospitality are first rate. The new villas are BEAUTIFUL, we really looked forward to heading back to our accommodation every day! The whole complex is spotless, everyone is so friendly.
