Hotel H10 Conquistador

Wow Wow Wow... this hotel has everything and more! Highly recommend to stay here! The staff, the food, the room, the pool, Just everything out of this world! First time here and got a room upgrade which was amazing! We came at the best time, last summer party which was AMAZING!! Shows until 11pm every night, pool entertainment and aqua fitness! Shops all around the hotel and easy to get to water park... get a taxi 6 euros one way! Cheap cheap cheap! Highly recommend all inclusive... branded drinks and great cocktails! We will be back and thank you for a great week!!

Well I couldn't have picked a better hotel the rooms where good and the view was amazing and even thow we had problems with our room the hotel looked after us. We only went Bed and Breakfast and I'm glad about that as food wasn't that great in the hotel. They have entertainment every night till about 11 and so many activities in and around the poor dur in the day. The breakfast food is about the only thing I enjoyed food wise in the hotel but apart for the poor food the hotel overall is great.

We have stayed at a number of hotels in Playa de las America now as we love the facilities and the weather. This is our first time at the Conquistador and we are sorry to say that there are much better hotels available. Firstly the positive, the reception staff were friendly and efficient, our room was kept nice and clean by the friendly housekeeping staff and we found the food to be good - we were half board and the choice of breakfasts suited us well. We ate out some nights but the evenings that we ate in the food was nice and we didn't having any trouble choosing something we liked. We managed to find sunbeds every day around 10.30am so never a problem with that either. We were in Room 438 and unfortunately the room is in much need of an upgrade, particularly the bathroom which had condensation stained ceilings, cracked tiles on the floor and a stained mirror. The bed was so uncomfortable on the first evening we requested a replacement mattress and were offered a topper which we accepted. This was a piece of foam that had chunks around the edge missing from it but it was beneath a protector and a sheet so we accepted it and it did improve the quality of the bed. The pillows were dreadful with barely any filling in most of them. The air con was very poor, we didn't complain about that as we thought that it was just poor throughout the hotel until we went into the courtesy room and found that it worked perfectly in there. There was only one socket in the bedroom and one in the bathroom which was inadequate. The corridor carpets are all stained and in desperate need of replacement. The evening entertainment was not our cup of tea but we could have lived with that if it hadn't taken place outside in the pool area and wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear your self think to read a book in the room. We had paid extra for a sea view room as we enjoy sitting on the balcony but we couldn't do that on an evening because of the very loud music which goes on until at least 11pm. The pool itself is nice but the sunbeds around the pool are packed in like sardines with no room to even put your bag between the beds. We were given room 126 as a courtesy room and this was an upgraded suite which was very nice so not all rooms are of the same standard of decor (I appreciate that a suite is going to be much larger and have better facilities but the standard of decor, in terms of cleanliness, should be similar throughout).
