We stayed here for a few days getaway for my girlfriends 30th birthday. Firstly the hotel is in a great spot, right in the middle of town. It all seemed clean, communal areas were lovely and the breakfast was good.
There were some obvious bad point unfortunately, but not enough to really affect the trip. The signage for the hotel is awful, we struggled to find it. Being in town centre its very noisy, to be expecte...

One of the worst hotel experiences Ive ever had.
I stayed at Grand Hotel Praha and was extremely disappointed. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, especially the person handling the luggage he was rude, careless, and threw the bags as if he hated his job. This alone created a very uncomfortable first impression.

The location is excellent right in the heart of everything but thats about the only good thing here. I booked a room with a street view, but my room looked out onto garbage-filled backyards. The reception staff are absolutely terrible, very rude and treat you like you owe them your life: the lady at the front desk looks like shes never brushed her hair in her life, and the mans breath could knock you over. Typical Old Town hotel, baroque and cosy

Ideal location on Old Town Square, albeit a bit overcrowded around the clock's chiming times. Very convenient to explore the whole city centre by foot, we just took tram 22 to get to the castle, otherwise most attractions are accessible in a 10mn walk.

The location on Old Square is good although the front of the hotel is exactly opposite the clock so can be chaotic on the hour. The room was very spacious and quiet at night. It is old world and very cosy to come back to on a cold evening....
