THB Flora

Stayed here in June this year in an 1 bed superior apartment over the road in Flora 2. The room was spacious and clean and cleaned each day (other than Monday’s and Fridays) free air-con was great and all facilities in the room where fine. Pool area was good and pool itself was great and slightly heated so not totally freezing :-) pool bar open 12pm until 4pm. Can’t comment on the pool in Flora 1 as never used this and we were self catering so no idea if the food is good or not but other guests seemed to enjoy from what I heard. Location is great as 10 mins walk to the old town and the hill people have mentioned in other reviews isn’t all that bad but a taxi is only €3 so not an issue. Staff were all very helpful and polite and check in was extremely easy. All in all it would recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay again.

We had a superior room which had a large bedroom twin or double bed. Huge wardrobe with loads hangers and space. Big bathroom shower amazing. Living area with table and 4 chairs large sofa which can be pulled into double bed. Kettle toaster coffee machine microwave and 2 ring electric hob. Small veranda with table and 3 chairs and a little airer. Immaculate clean on arrival. We were on opposite side to main pool and reception etc but am underground tunnel connects both sides. Big deep pool on our side nice and quiet. Other pool is where action is with music and a few games round pool. Nothing that would annoy as music not loud and games only if you want to play. Lots of loungers which people do reserve in morning with towels even tho hotel says not allowed this is not enforced. Small supermarket onsite which is reasonable. Kids club good for younger kids. Brekki not great but lots choice. show bar is quite small and entertainment average. You can drink your own alcohol soft drinks at pool and in all public areas of hotel as drinks expensive and not great. Out back of pool gates 5 mins to spar down hill and some nice restaurants. Highlander and marios both lovely food. Really hilly area around 10 mins down to playa chica and old harbour and shops restaurants. Taxi back up around 3 euro's. Staff at hotel all lovely I would return to this hotel but prob on room basis only as I wasn't impressed with food.

I stayed here with my fiance (we are 23 and 24) and got home yesterday. We both really enjoyed this hotel, all the staff were really friendly and extremely hardworking. I enjoyed the entertainment of a night, my favourite was "Sly Guitar" and "Adrenalina". The animation team were fantastic and so fun I enjoyed the yoga, aqua-aerobics and cocktail games. The food was really nice, it was varied more than other all inclusives I've been to before. The burgers were my favourite I had all week. The deserts were also lovely. The pool and sunbed facilities were great. It is a very family hotel, there was a lot of young families and lots of activities for children such as the games, kids club, disco and park area. Our room was right outside the kids play area and kids club. This means it was quite loud early of a morning so not great if you're a light sleeper but it wasn't really a big problem. The room was fantastic, lots of space and well equipped. We had a junior suite with a hairdryer, shampoos and shower gels, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, and tea/coffee making essentials ie teabags sugar ect. We had two TVs there a a few English channels there was "PICK" "Disney Channel", lots of new channels, and on channel 3 or 4 it was mostly like "The Chase" "Who wants to be a millionaire?" "The Cube". Rooms are really well designed and so pretty on the outside. Its about a 15 minute walk from the hotel to the beach, where all the restaurants, shops, bars and even an arcade and costs about €3.50-€4.00 in a taxi if youd rather not walk as the walk back is all uphill, and that is fairly cheap. Overall thought the hotel was great and if I have children in the future I would definitely come back here with them as the hotel was great for children. It was mixed however with couples, groups, young families, older couples and families though. There is also a super market and a souvenir shop in the hotel both reasonable prices for everything, so you dont really even need to leave the hotel.
