We stayed at this hotel twice during our trip to Icelandonce upon arrival and again before our departure.
Our first stay was perfectly fine. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything met our expectations.
Unfortunately, our second stay was completely different and ended our trip on a very disappointing note. We were given an old, worn-out room that clearly needed renovation. The furniture was out...

Filthy. The desk chair was so badly stained we did not sit on it once. One night table smelled like piss. There were brown stains in the curtains. There was dust, sand and filth under the bed and in door treshold crevices etc. Shower sealant was moldy. Bed sheet had holes in it.

Had a great stay before flying back home. The rooms are clean and quiet. Location is convenient and very close to the main street (Laugavegur)....

Great Location, but the rooms could use some sprucing up

We loved the location of this hotel, and their buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooms were stuffy with no ventilation. Opening the window did not help. They should consider some type of fan because there was no way to regulate the temperature. The room had many dings on furniture and floors giving it a shabby look....
