I had an enjoyable time at Hotel Klettur. The rooms are decent. Dont expect high end or anything but the rooms were clean. Water was hot. Daily provided breakfast for free. The best part about this hotel for me was the location. It is located about a 10-15 minute walk to the main downtown street where all the shops and bars and restaurants are. Plus its located in a good spot where your activity pick ups will come ...

I booked Hotel Klettur as it was relatively cheap for Reykjavik and was on the pick up list for many tours which made travelling really easy. The hotel was basic, but clean and welcoming. Breakfast was standard continental and was available at 7am which was great for a 8am pick up. The room was clean, the bathrooms were a good size but I did have issues with the window being open and the radiator not working properly...

Sinead worked at the reception desk and was extremely helpful and friendly providing information and answering questions. We were ill but she cheered us up....
