Stayed in this hotel twice before and after a tour around Iceland.
It was a well located hotel which is near major attractions and shopping streets. Plenty of restaurants, eating options and groceries nearby. There are bus stops near the hotel for public transit if needed.

Reception very friendly and helpful
Room quiet and beds were perfect....you can see northern lights from your bed
We were at rhe second floor room 228...
Hotel is in the middle of city center...you can do everything by walk.
Supermaket h24 7/7 just near the hotel

We very much enjoyed our stay at Skuggi Hotel. The room was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located very close to many restaurants and bars and just around the corner from local bus services....

Great location within Reykjavik, near shops, restaurants, and for sightseeing. The rooms are comfortable, great breakfast buffet. Near bus stop 9 which where the Flybus service pick you up to take to the Blue Lagoon, airport and many places. If you are planning a trip to Iceland, you might want to consider this hotel....
