I stayed there for four days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The location is superb, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The service was excellent, and the reception staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with any questions or requests.
The complimentary breakfast offered the same selection each day, but it was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying, so I still looked forward to it ever...

Excellent hotel. Exceptional staff, great brekfast buffet. We stayed here two different times during our visit to Reykjavik and both times we had a foul odour emanating from the shower drain. The first time we were quite upset. But the issue went away after running the hot water for a few minutes. Seems this is a common issue in dow town Reykjavik hotels. Excellent stay at Skuggi Hotel

We had a great stay at Skuggi Hotel. Was nice to have parking available. The location was perfect to see much of Reykjavik by foot and great restaurants nearby. Just a heads-up to newbies like us, you must place your card key in the slot inside your room for the electricity to work......

Nice hotel, but a few little things spoiled our overall experience. We had a superior room which was spacious and had big windows. There was confusion on the booking where we assumed that booking with an 11-year-old would result in an extra bed being added automatically (which wed pay for). Unfortunately at check in there was no extra bed sorted and the assumption was that all 3 of us would sleep in the same bed. It...

A great location just a block from Laugavegar with plenty of dining and shopping options. A small but still cozy room with almost no noise and a solid breakfast that's well serviced....
