The hotel was very comfortable and warm. The location was excellent for exploring Reykjavik and catching the tour buses....

Very nice rooms, well set up, clean. Only drawback is the shower, water gets everywhere in the bathroom since there isnt a door. The thermal heat rack in the shower was great. Breakfast was decent as it was part of the cost, lots of variety....

Perfect for a city break

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond during our stay. The rooms were clean, warm and spacious for a couple with luggage. Bus stop number 9 is just on the corner allowing easy access for trip pick ups/drop offs and buses. Lovely bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

Great location, lovely room and very clean. Breakfast was filling with lots of options. The staff here are just fantastic, so helpful, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I ever come back to Iceland I would be more than happy to stay here again....

A Spartan would complain the mattress is too soft, and be happy with the roombut it served its purpose 110%.

A wonderful small hotel of very basic character, and a very helpful staff.
My single room was perhaps 3 x 4 m, and truly plain, having what is needed and nothing more. The bathroom is about 1/3 that, but perfectly functional and usable. That being said, the single bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
