We loved the location of the Storm Hotel - perfect walking distance to the downtown shops on Laugavegur Street, HallgrÃmskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall - and the #12 bus stop for tour buses is right out the front door. We booked here to attend Iceland Airwaves festival and although it was a bit out of the way we have no regrets! The staff, the room, the food, everything was perfect. The foss hotel across the street has an indoor beer garden/pub with an excellent variety of beers on tap. Right outside the door is Bus Stop #12, for flybus and tours, so very convenient!...

Hotel was clean and location was good but customer service was non-existent. We traveled with our friends and after a long day of driving around the beautiful country, just wanted to unwind and relax; couldn't do that obviously in small rooms and weren't allowed to sit around the lobby and drink our wine. They wouldn't allow us to do that and said we can't drink our own wine. They wanted us to buy from them but their...
