Wish I could know where to start with... we decided to stay at this resort because we read positive reviews about it, but we would probably not come back, nor recommend it, just for a couple of things or situations which made it a non pleasant stay. But want to start first with some staff that were the only highlights for us, during our stay; Carlos Uc our waiter, he was and is the star of the resort, not only gave us the best service we had received at this resort but we can actually say he´s worth much more and belongs at previous 5 diamond resorts we have stayed in. Our concierge Enrique cuba,he was always very kind with us, checking on us and made time to actually listen to us, not just nod and ignore, he was there and we thank him for being a nice person. Mr. Domingo, another waiter, who made it possible for us to have a nice meal, no matter what, always looking for an option and made us feel more relaxed after our incidents... We also like to mention Ivonne and Abigail (hostess), Enrique (beach waiter) who is extremely funny, Rogelio (front desk), they always found the way to help us and not say no, which we heard a lot on this vacation. We had the pleasure of meeting Jesus the captain from the Bloved restaurant, also a kind gentleman, he personalized our last two dinners and made sure everything ran smoothly, we also thanked Roberto the chef who prepared us our special meals. The massages at the spa could be much better, usually have massages at the other resorts, and can that have had better and staff needs to be more kind. The resort itself was not that clean, sand inside the pools, we found a face mask around the pool by the bar, and no one picked it up the 6 days we were there, bathrooms need to be checked and cleaned constantly,the "Adelita" restaurant during dinner was just great, every dish was very good, for snacks the few things the offer is not good and for breakfast everything is just cold and hard. We recommend you to have breakfast at "Bloved", but also had some issues, they just did not have all the ingredients due to an incomplete storage... basically if you are allergic to some food or ingredients, it´s not the best resort to stay at, they have very limited options and they do not pass the information, so having to say and ask the same favor every single day, 3 times a day is just not enough. Had to stay 4nights till we finally had a dinner menu that we could actually eat and enjoy. Not sure why is it that hard to have and pass the correct information to the rest of the staff, having sent previous emails about this special request... could have avoided this incidents. What also made it a bad service experience, having a waiter first offering to serve us any kind of drink, and at the end just telling us "We do have that drink, but you need to go for it yourself". Also think its complicated to refill our minibar how we had requested also on previous email, before our arrival, but think the did not take a note to the "non alcoholic drinks please". We invited a special friend to celebrate with us, paying a full stay for him to experience a nice day and meals, but had problems with his AC, maintenance arrived 1 hour later, after calling front desk, looking for housekeeping and even went to the restaurants to ask for their help by calling them, for sure that is not part of a AAA standard. The "Get it yourself drink, is just not part of the all inclusive experience. We understand there is and will be for some time a very low occupancy, but the staff needs to be prepared and always provide a good service no matter what, if you cannot offer certain meals, open certain restaurants, give us more options and so, they can at least smile and be kind. We really do not want to be around staff that complain about their job, even less listening to them categorizing and wanting certain "difficult or picky" guest out!.... guest service needs to be more careful how and when they talk by the phone about other guests, having one right in front of them. About entertainment we must say that we are happy with the few night shows we got to see, with just 5 dancers on stage they did their best, we appreciate their effort and their smiles, even if the theater was not full. Definitely the best number was "raining men". we were fully entertained, while during the day there was no nothing to do, maybe some water aerobics or ,bingo, but not sure where were they from 9am till 5pm. Not sure if the guy with a radio was the supervisor or the boss, but did not smile, was always very serious... weird for being in entertainment. Not here to offend anyone, just would really want you to please talk with the staff, help each other and also acknowledge those who are really worth staying in the company, by giving them the chance to grow.

An unforgettable experience 7 days of pure pleasure for me and my daughter. Comfortable accommodation, cleanliness and security evident in all hotel facilities. Congratulations and thanks to the fantastic Team for the loving and attentive way we were treated.

Our stay was ok, seaweed problem was handled good, they cleaned every morning. Food was OK, it was not to much to choose from. This resort does one day stay, meaning, anyone from outside can come ro resort and stay there for a day. I think it's a bad idea at this time, because of covid - 19. Good that this resort had sanitizers everywhere . They do check your fever every morning. LOTS of mosquitos, I don't think resort sprays them now. Room was ok. Bathroom had very bad smell every morning. Smell came from the plumbing system that was in the shower and by toilet. We called lobby to check the smell, no one ever came and fixed it. To eleminate that smell, we took large ziploc bag, filled with water and placing over plumbing holes.Picture attached. Also, there was mold by AC fan. Otherwise, our stay was ok. Nj
