    This resort was absolutely beautiful and exotic. I loved everything about this hotel - the staff, the food, the pool. the beach. It was all great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

    Excellent, excellent, excellent, we stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Words cannot describe the great vibe of the place. The beach has a natural feel and is not surrounded by miles of hotels. The staff at the B'loved restaurant gave exceptional service, our server Alfredo/Alfonso provided us with great service. The nightly entertainment was far beyond my expectations. The live band was amazing. The entire experience was wonderful. Thank you Catalonia!

    Beautiful hotel, if you’re looking for a smaller hotel in Mexico this is the place to be. The beach and pool are lovely, and they work very hard to clean as much seaweed everyday. We never had a problem finding a sunbed and there are hammocks hung between the palm trees which are nice to relax in. All staff are friendly and welcoming, and are happy to help with any queries. Can’t fault the food, something different each day and a variety of choice. Along with a few bars which offer multiple drinks. It is easy enough to get a taxi into playa del carmen if you’re looking for a good night out or some shopping. There are also a few Cenotes not far from the hotel which you can get to via the collectivo, we loved Cristalino which is a 5 min drive. Would recommend booking excursions through Marco in the lobby as we booked two with him which were both fantastic.

    We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms, spa, and all the hotel facilities were spotless. There is a wide variety of food options...our favourite was the steakhouse. We upgraded to a privileged suite and got free room service...we felt spoiled. We were especially well-treated by Miguel, one of the hotel's guest service representatives. He made sure our honeymoon was special by having a bottle of champagne and little chocolates sent to our room. He always made us feel welcome and cared for. Thank you Miguel!

    We love going to this resort - we go every year and this year was #6. We go with people that go there twice a year and have been too many times to count. The seaweed has been bad the last couple of years but that is not the resorts fault. They do their best to keep it clean. There are several food options for the evening. I haven't had anything bad yet. The staff is wonderful - there is always an activity. If you haven't been - but decide to go you will remember Rosa (trust me). The rooms are great - always very clean. Playa Del Carmen is not very far and you can get a taxi or if you are brave take a Captiva. The price is right and most worth it.
