Basic But Needs Work

A very basic old hotel. It has character to be sure, but needs modernization. The showers leak so much that the floor floods each time. That was a universal complaint among hotel guests. Not the biggest issue but thats why its 3 stars....

Donna Laura Palace hotel is really an amazing beautiful boutique hotel. We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last month. The hotel is located in the Prati district which is a very quiet neighbourhood, a few minutes away from all the major attractions. Very pleasant hotel in an excellent location

We selected this hotel due to its' proximity to the Stadio Olympico where we were going to watch the rugby. Most pleasingly it is only twenty five minutes walk from the stadium and likewise the same into the heart of Rome. The hotel itself is well presented, reception is small and so are the bedrooms but this is not unusual for a City centre hotel. Whilst I cannot fault the helpful and friendly staff, I think it is fair to say the hotel is in need of a little bit of love. The location for visiting the sites is pretty good, only 5 minute walk from Lepanto train, and 25 - 35 minute walk into the centre of Rome. However the rooms (especially those without a balcony) are not particularly large and could do with a little bit of a refresh. Overall I think fine for a ...

As a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe in this beautiful 4* hotel, the staff accommodated all of my needs and ensured I was always satisfied with everything. The breakfast was exceptional and delicious. The room was very comfortable and clean!! The housekeepers were amazing with everything. The center is also just a 15 -20 minute walk with amazing views of the river....
