We stayed one night at Hotel Fontana and had a great experience! We were nervous after reading some reviews, but Im glad we didnt end up canceling. Our room had a view of the Trevi Fountain that truly was unimaginable! The hotel staff were very kind, spoke great English, and helped us in every way possible. Lovely receptionist, she was very kind and we felt very welcome. We visited for breakfast paid 25 each for the rooftop bar view, staff were very attentive and always smiling, couldnt have asked for more :)...

Where to start? Place is out dated. Room had no air conditioning. Told the front desk only to tell me it's not America. But it sad Mitsubishi on it? And we have them in America. Also revived a cab from hotel and he charged us on meter for 3 people. So please pay attention. Wouldn't definitely recommend....

Perfect view of the Trevi Fountain

Location is a 5 star. The view out of our room was directly over the Trevi Fountain. Although the crowds are big from 8 AM to 10 PM with the windows closed, you couldnt hear the noise. Its a perfect place to stay for 2-3 nights while in Rome. Thats what we did then moved next to the Coliseum....

We visited for our 20th wedding anniversary as the fountain is where we got engaged in 2003, we thought this would be a romantic getaway with time to reminisce. We payed extra to have a direct view of the fountain. This is the only positive I can say. Room 305 did have the view
