Slightly quirky hotel but great offering good value and great location

The hotel is quite modern, good value and well located near the Vatican and a metro stop. The bedrooms were clean , spacious and smart. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. The roof top bar was great fun and well worth going to. We found the staff friendly and helpful...

This is for the roof top bar only, we didnt stay at the hotel. We have had such great service while here in Rome but this was the WORSE service we have had. We were pretty much ignored the entire time! Other tables were sat and given snacks meanwhile we never received anything. We had to walk up to the bar to ask to get service and then we asked for our check you would have thought we asked for the most complicate...

Loved this hotel. Fun and high quality decor and fittings. Large rooms, bright and comfy. Super breakfast with loads of healthy and unhealthy choices and staff who are bubbly and friendly. A bar and restaurant and a rooftop bar! Highly recommend....

This was our third visit to Mama Shelter. It has a lot going for it: good location, with a the Line A Cipro Metro station close by (and adjacent to the terminus of the 492 bus line, which travels through the historic center); an indoor swimming pool (reserve ahead tp schedule a slot), a terrific rooftop bar-restaurant, and a generous breakfast buffet in the ground-floor restaurant. This place was amazing for our stay! Very funky cool vibes and eclectic style may a truly unique experience. Gjulia, Mirco and Margherita on reception are absolute superstars and made the stay so easy and couldnt have done more for us during our stay.
