I stayed at Trevi Palace Inn in Rome. Room was lovely and clean. staff so lovely,
And Tabby helped us with a tour . Close to every thing. Such lovely people . And also a gentleman was not sure his name he was helpful too.

Disappointing Stay Due to Noise, Poor Sleep, and Outdated Facilities

We stayed at Trevi Palace Luxury Inn for 4 days and unfortunately left feeling extremely tired due to the lack of sleep throughout our stay.
The biggest issue was the noise. The rooms are incredibly noisy because the windows are not properly double glazed, so you hear traffic and city noise all night long as the hotel is right in the middle of the city centre. Even the reception staff acknowledged this and provided ...

Lovely large room, the hotel is well situated.
Unfortunately a few issues with the room.
There was a strange smell everytime you walked in to the room, not sure if this was from the sofa or something else.
The sofa could do with being changed to a bit more upto date one. The TV had no English channels or radio station which was quite disappointing.

We were 2 couples. Arriving after a 23 hour flight we were told the 2 rooms booked months ago were not available. Our only choice was the penthouse suite to share. One bed was a fold out sofa. On the return visit after our cruise we eventually got 2 rooms. They had deep shower over baths which were very dangerous for older folk. The safety bar was broken in the bath. The location was very good, only a minute or so away from the Trevi Fountain, but this does mean its very busy in the streets around the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Taking into account it is an old building, our room, Botticelli 3, was located at the rear of the building and quiet although the walls were paper thin.
