We have travelled as a couple aged 40 & 42 for 10 nights. This is not the hotels fault, but I would suggest go elsewhere if you don’t have young children. The resort is perfect for young families with all the amenities and I’m certain that people with young children will love being here. We on the other hand were going a bit demented by the constant crying & screaming from young tots having tantrums. We had nowhere to wander to in the evening. We like to have a walk out to nearby shops and pubs etc but this hotel is basically a set apart resort next to a busy road and either a 15-20min walk from anywhere or a bus/taxi ride away. It is simply surrounded by houses and a road. So basically we became very bored as we had no where to go without paying for transport really. The complex again had lots to do for young children, excellent water park areas for them, very shallow pools etc and catered incredibly well for them. I wish basically we had booked a hotel catering more for couples. The round the pool music was dire. Today we had 1970’s rock ballads such as Stevie Wonder and Wham. The other day song after song of Michael Jackson, and another day cover songs that kept repeating. Not the right music at all for customers mainly in their 20’s and 30’s. Today everyone looked glum and bored with awful old music playing and the pool bar closed for an unknown reason. The food was a good 3star level of all inclusive. The same level that I have found elsewhere. They do make an effort and it was quickly replenished with nothing running empty. You shouldn’t have any problems finding things to eat. The Italian restaurant was our favourite but all were good. Queues weren’t bad but I can only speak from a holiday in September which may differ from 6 weeks peak summer holidays. The resort is probably mainly 3star due to its age and needing renovation I would imagine. There were nice touches on arrival such as a beach towel bag, beach towels to use etc. It was clean. Around the pool could definitely have done with cleaners picking up all the used plastic cups that were blowing around everywhere. Just a suggestion really. The entertainers tried their hardest and appeared cheerful and enthusiastic. I would say the holiday was not suitable for us as a couple, but not the fault so much of the hotel, we should just have done more research for our needs.

We stayed here for a week last year. Chosen because there was a 3 restaurant choice on site. Check in was straight forward and we had a room on the ground floor. Our room however was near a very busy road on the outside ring of the hotel, so noise a little intrusive at times, and the walls a little thin with regards to other guests. We did have an issue the shower head and the face panel of it falling off but this was dealt with immediately and we had no further issues with it. Room was very spacious and even came complete with patio (ground floor too) We had no problems getting a lounge each day despite being late to rise. We had breakfast in the main restaurant each day and I was spoilt with pancakes and waffles. A total dream life every morning. During the day we indulge on drinks and decided to go with the re-usable offered for a euro, which was and still is a great idea plus ideal for use upon returning home. Lunch was option of an of the three restaurants, we could go for burgers or Italian or see what the general had to offer. Unfortunately I was not a fan of the burgers as it was always over done and very smoky atmosphere. However I loved the Italian and even treated myself to small bits from the children's section. The only food niggle we had was finding a piece of raw chicken in with the curry mix (presumably someone had gotten rushed and dumped in the wrong cooking batch) We brought this to the attention of the manager who proceeded to investigate immediately and decided we had found cubed mango and that it was not in fact raw chicken. I know what raw chicken looks like and I know what we found. Regardless we had no further issues and no one got sick. So all is well that ends well I suppose. This did NOT detract from our trip. The pool was busy everyday despite having several other pools for kids they still wan tot be in the adult pool. Life guards left at 6 so swimming was out from that point, no problem to me but lots of guests defied this rule and risked it any, especially when they closed the pool due to a nappy incident with a child and later comers did not realise why the pool was shut and used it regardless. There was a persistent photographer who didn't seem to understand no despite speaking fluent English. However, you learn to avoid. There was also a daily team that arrived to advise and remind on the necessity of sunscreen and sold products at no doubt an inflated cost, despite there being a little shop on site very reasonably priced to help with such things. We naturally made friends with local cats in the area. There is a constant shuttle service to the beach and this was brilliant, you could walk the distance in 20mins but in high summer this would be unwise. All in all you pay for what you get and we paid for a holiday to lay by the pool and enjoy light drinks and that's what we got.
