    With its tempting sun terrace and sparkling pool, the Yiannis Village in Sidari offers family-friendly, self-catered holidays to Corfu.

    All studios and apartments at this laidback hotel come with a kitchenette and either a balcony or terrace. There’s a large outdoor pool flanked by sunloungers, as well as a splash area for kids, a slide and a whirlpool. Available activities include Greek-themed evenings, quiz nights and table tennis.

    The hotel's in a tranquil part of Sidari, but it's still only a 15-minute walk from the town's lively centre and main strip. Guests can also walk to the beach in about 15 minutes, and local buses have direct connections to Corfu Town.

    Located just a 25 minute walk from the main strip of Sidari, Yiannis Village Apartments, who are run by Emma, Tellis and the team, is the most fabulous place to come and stay. I stayed here, last year with my family and came again this year as a lone traveler. The room I was allocated was spacious, clean and had all the basic amenities you need. Nothing is too much trouble and the service (across the board) is second to none. Because of it's location, it is surrounded by luscious greenery, stunning views, yet you are not too far away from the action, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. However, Emma and Telilis provide all the entertainment you need if you don't fancy going into town, from bingo, to quizzes to Greek nights & Karaoke (when it is are allowed back - Post Covid) Food here is fresh, tasty, delicious and made to order. The menu is extensive (Including breakfast, lunch and dinner options) and enough to enjoy different foods each night.. from Greek and British classics to a classic roast dinner on a Sunday! The Tzatziki is to die for!!! The bar here is fully stocked with a wide range of drinks for every taste and Emma does a crackin' Pina Colada! The swimming pool here is large, (bigger than the others in the local area )and a Jacuzzi pool (not heated) is also available if you just want to sit and relax... just ask and it can be switched on for your enjoyment. Sunbeds are a plenty and most of them surround the pool. I never saw anyone have any issues in trying to get one, even though the apartments were fully booked. You can enjoy a game of pool or table tennis if that is your thing and the WiFi is free (albeit only available at the bar / restaurant) but your going on holiday, so having some downtime from the world wide web was great. The apartments are generously spaced in blocks around the grounds. Some are a lot more modern than others but they are working on getting everything updated in due course (No timescale set as yet!) Corfu is one of the Islands that Covid-19 hasn't taken over YET, but I still found all areas to be spotless and frequently cleaned and they have at least 4 hours between each check-out / check-in to make sure the apartments are well ventilated and cleaned. With Emma as the perfect hostess and Tellis as the wonderful (but sometimes quirky) owner and barman, a stay here has been truly enjoyable... I WILL be back! xx

    Booked as a last minute holiday. Yes Telus gets some bad press on here however this is his family home and business. He will also admit he's grumpy and he knows it! Everything was spotless. Wasn't expecting the cleaners to come in the apartment as we were only there for a week however they came twice. Plenty of sunbeds around a large pool. We were greeted on arrival by Emma who cannot do enough for you and on leaving on an early departure was up to say goodbye. Emma and Telis, thank you for making our holiday a truly memorable one. We will be back.

    Just back from a two week break. As a first time visitor (my partner has been numerous times previously) I was a little unsure as to whether the hotel would be as good as she had suggested! Witnessing a heated argument, just after arrival, did little to allay any of my concerns! (a tirade of foul and abusive language incited by a group of guests towards the owner- whos polite attempts to prevent his property from being damaged through misuse were ignored) However, the hotel and its owners and staff were wonderful during our stay. Typically Greek accomodation spread across a number of blocks with large pool (clean) and more than ample sunbeds and parasols. Food and drinks prices in the hotel were on par with most of the other bars/restaurants is Sidari. We ate both in the hotel a number of times (plus enjoyed bingo, quiz nights etc) and also in the main resort- a flat walk of about 20mins away. Never really had a bad meal anywhere! Hired a car for a couple of days in our 2nd week, great to visit Arillas, San Stefanos and Kassiopi- all within 30 mins. drive. Thanks Emma, Tellis and staff at The Yiannis Village for a great holiday- see you again next year (already booked!!) No wonder you have so many returning guests!

    stayed here for a week in september,was sorry to leave,from arriving till the end was simply amazing,Emma originally from manchester cannot do enough for you,anything needed she was right onto it,i thought the mattresses were a little to hard,but emma straightaway got a mattress topper put on,she can’t do enough for you,and Telis is fantastic,making everyone laugh all week,he was very entertaining.The food is great and reasonably priced,pool amazing,and the whole complex is spotless,can’t wait to go back,see you next year,Ian and Ang ❤️

    the best place I've stayed , Emma is a fantastic hostess and the most kind owner I've ever ever come across, great hotel excellent food, the little touches emma puts in place in fab, this will definitely become a regular place for us to visit, thanks to all the staff , teli, maria all kind people
