City Hotel is the most beautiful hotel in Thessaloniki. To get to the hotel from the airport you can either take a taxi or 01X bus outside the airport during the day or 01N if you arrive at night. The bus cost on 3.60. You can purchase the bus ticket at a kiosk near the bus stop or on the bus itself. From the airport it is about 40 mins bus ride depending on traffic. Clean, quiet and very friendly

The hotel is located in the centre of town, but the room I had faced away from the street, and was very quiet. Even with the window open at night. The ensuite bathroom was nice and bright and the bed comfortable, with lots of pillows. Breakfast had lots of options and was very tasty. And to make the stay perfect; all of the staff were very helpful and friendly....

My husband and I went on a guided tour of Greece and our first stop was Thessaloniki. The City Hotel was our first stay and it was in a great location close to the Thermaic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. Small shops, terrific restaurants, and tons of attractions and sites all within walking distance. Staff was amazing and beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!...

The location can't be beat, and the value for a room with no view was quite good. While we missed having a view, the upside was that the room was extremely quiet, providing a peaceful and uninterrupted night's sleep. (Aided by the very comfortable and firm beds.) The tiny bathroom had only one small hook for a vanity kit and not a single place to hang a towel. We would have loved to help them with their conservation ...

We had a wonderful stay at City Hotel in Thessaloniki. The room was very nice, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade upon arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very welcome.
The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast buffet it should have more variety to match the high quality of the rest of the experience.
