It was an old fashioned elegant European hotel with an excellent staff. Our room was fairly large, the furniture was old fashioned and comfortable and it had a modern heating system. The Bathroom was also of a decent size. It had a shower without a door which coming from the US I found to be pain to use. Check in was delightful. It is a beautiful old building with all the associations of quirky lifts, carpeted floors and darker furnishings but it looks and feels luxurious. If its modern you want, dont come here. It is a peaceful and calm place. Our red room was very spacious and had an excellent balcony. Bathroom and separate toilet. We simply loved it. It was a little tough to find the hotel even with GPS, but once we were able to get to it this was a real find. The hotel was a real upscale place and in a nice area with a mid range price. The rooms were very nice and very clean and parking was private across the street from the hotel. Lots of restaurants near the hotel....

Great location at Capitole. Friendly reception staff. Our Capitole view room was small, adequate, but dated. The breakfast was adequate. Would return bc of the location but this is not a luxury hotel in any way....

I am currently staying at this hotel as part of my birthday celebration in France with friends. The staff is friendly but i was informed at check -in that i would have to move from the suite that i booked months ago after my 2nd of 3 nights. The other option was to stay in a suite that had no terrasse and no view. There was no acknowledgment as to why this is so nor was there any advance warning so that i could reboo...
