We enjoyed another (three night) return visit to the Ca' Pisani. The hotel has a very good location in (relatively) quiet Dorsoduro, only c. 250 m from vaporetto stops on Zattere and the Grand Canal and within walking distance of Venice's four top art galleries and a good choice of restaurants. San Marco is also within walking distance or can be accessed via a short vaporetto ride.

Choice of hotel in Venice is crucial, the location can make or break a trip there as lugging cases over multiple bridges and steps would be an awful start, so this hotel scored massively with us as it was only a few steps form a pontoon but far enough away to not be annoyed by the sound of late night boats working!

Hotel was lovely, great rooms, bathrooms, location and service.
Only down side was the mattress was very hard, so uncomfortable for sleep quality.
Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend ...

Excellent hotel with great service, easy 150m walk from the water taxi station. So no issues with dragging cases for miles over bridges etc. Lots to see and do within the area and very good access to all the usual places. Would stay again without hesitation....

Bumped into this restaurant by chance while strolling in Venice with the family. We had a tagliere with cheese and cold cuts, then octopus with potatoes and spinach, it was unbelievable! The kids had pasta with tomato sauce and ate it all. The service was fantastic and Matteo, the young and talented chef, came to explain the dishes. A pleasant surprise...
