Room ++ nice and big but disappointing in some aspects:
1) carpets - tired and grubby
2) nails sticking out of a furniture which tore my dress (reported to reception who ignored the dress damage and told me housekeeping would fix the nail issue - but it wasnt )

I rarely write reviews about places that i stay in, but this hotel really amazed me so i have to publicly say thank you for the amazing experience.

From the welcome Prosecco, to the beautiful historic rooms overlooking a canal, to breakfast in a Gilded room with Renaissance art on the ceiling, the museum, and the attentive staff in every role in hotel, this place is a timeless gem.
