Amazing stay at the Hotel Canal Grande!

I had planned my stay at the Hotel Canal Grande for almost a year. I chose this hotel for the location and that they have a private dock that will accommodate our needs for our upcoming cruise. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to me prior and during our stay. They answered so many questions to help my trip run smoothly and could not have been nicer! Room 1 on ground floor was excellent- side view of a quiet alley - canal views are more expensive
Lucia on Reception at arrival was extremely helpful and gave us lots of useful local information
Breakfast on the outdoor deck overlooking the canal is a special memory
Great location for water bus stop and only 2 bridges to cross for Santa Lucia train station
Bar service was good and prices reasonable in the hot...

Wonderful place to say with a with high attention to customer service. The breakfast was wonderful. The check in was great! Wonderful recommendations for dinner and tips for using the water bus. The rooms were comfy and clean, decorated with Venetion style. Perfect location for train travelers to Venice....

Our stay, was fantastic, great location, exceptional friendly staff and lovely rooms.
We stayed in two different rooms during our five nights stay, reason being, is we extended our stay, 1st room had a terrace which was just wonderful with a very lovely view over the canal and also the hotel front seating area, second room being a junior suite overlookingthe canal, both furnished traditionally and very clean.

Wonderful boutique renaissance style hotel with amazing staff. Ideally placed for great restaurants. Piazza San Marco is a leisurely 30-40 mins walk depending on how distracted you get on the way. Would highly recommend this hotel and if were ever back in Venice wed definitely stay here again...
