Great Hotel - Amazing front desk

Great location. In front of the Canal, Train station and so many other good restaurants and shopping around. Their front desk staff goes over and above to help make your trip comfortable which is so essential if this is your first trip to Venice. I highly recommend. Their breakfast is out of this world with so many options....

Hard mattress and pillows.

The room was clean. And I had one of the bigger bathrooms of the group. Great shower. But the bed was rock hard. And such a tiny mattress my feet hung off the end. Pillows hard and flat. I couldnt get comfortable and didnt get much sleep. Decor - gag!! And I had to be careful when taking off my shirt that I didnt hit the glass light fixture. Nice location....

Horrible Service and Poor Room Quality

This is definitely the worst service experience my wife and I ever had in hotel, the staff is horrible, the lady CHIARA is the most Grumpy and rude person you can meet there, she literally goes to people table and start taking your plate without even say a word to you, therere other stories with the horrible person, but it would not fit here. Lovely hotel with great staff. Room facilities were great, modern bathroom and good shower, although no shaving mirror in the bathroom. There was no working AC in the room. For those from northern climates AC should be all year round.
We requested a quiet room and thats exactly what we got, thank you
Great location for the river bus / train station and Venice attractions.

The first thing to understand about Venice is that it is an ancient cityone that does not expand with new construction but instead preserves, repurposes, and recycles its existing architecture.
