All the staff were polite and extremely courteous at all times, the room was exceptional and along with the great location of the hotel, made for a great week spent in Venice.
Hotel reception suggested very good restaurants with a high standard of cuisine, our favourite being Antico Gatoleto.All round an excellent experience ...

The first of all the photos on the web site and the actual room was totally different..I took a photos of the room I stayed called junior suit..you can take a look..only the bathroom was good and nice.No drinking water,,No tea,,no coffe,no mini barthe worst think ,,the room was very cold..air conditioner is located very wrong place and programmed to 20 C. doesnt matter what degrees you set it up,,it returns back t...

One of the hotels we stayed at on a group tour and was in the heart of Venice. Personally, I love this hotel. But I do recognize that it had some quirks that can have an impact on your stay. The first was that it seems like each room was unique. Absolutely gorgeous, huge, historic old building full of art; Murano chandeliers are everywhere, even some of the rooms. My room was exceedingly small. Thermostat easy to use, windows open. TV reception very spotty, free Wi-Fi dependable.

We felt this hotel caters mostly for groups not for individual visitors (and for us as individual travellers, it was very expensive although more like a very average 3-star than the claimed 4-star).
