A particular and excellent four star hotel

I was nervous about the hotel when I booked it. The reviews suggested it might be daunting (they said it had lots of rules, policed use of water bottles and outside food etc). The hotel does not allow outside food to be brought in and consumed. They do prefer guests to fill bottles with their water instead of buying many new plastic bottles. The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet ish neighborhood with nearby food and drink but a short walk from the more tourist popular spots around San Marco. The hotel is old world elegant, spotlessly clean and filled with pleasant and helpful staff. (special shoutout to Alessia who was funny and kind). The room was large and comfortable. Our room was great, staff was great and the breakfast was nice. It was a bit loud outside at night, the narrow streets echo everywhere in Italy, but nothing that would ruin your sleep completely. ...

The hotel was so quaint and beautiful . The lobby was very nice. The rooms were very unique. The location is great! The hotel management was very helpful in giving directions and recommendations....
