We had a great stay here, it is well positioned for a lot of key landmarks. Easy to get to from the airport by water taxi/ bus. Very clean hotel with good size rooms, spacious bathroom and in a quieter area. Swimming pool looked clean, small but good to cool off in the summer months. Breakfast buffet was good and well stocked with fruit, yogurts, pastries as well as hot food, plenty of eggs. ...

I was nervous about the hotel when I booked it. The reviews suggested it might be daunting (they said it had lots of rules, policed use of water bottles and outside food etc). The hotel does not allow outside food to be brought in and consumed. They do prefer guests to fill bottles with their water instead of buying many new plastic bottles. The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet ish neighborhood with nearby food and drink but a short walk from the more tourist popular spots around San Marco. The hotel is old world elegant, spotlessly clean and filled with pleasant and helpful staff. (special shoutout to Alessia who was funny and kind). The room was large and comfortable. Our room was great, staff was great and the breakfast was nice. It was a bit loud outside at night, the narrow streets echo everywhere in Italy, but nothing that would ruin your sleep completely. ...
