Be Careful With Valuables Disappointing Lost Item Experience

We had an overall pleasant stay at Hotel Montecarlo, but unfortunately, it ended on a very disappointing note. After checkout, we realized we had left a purse in our room and immediately contacted the hotel. Sadly, the purse was never recovered, and it contained personal items and cash.

Loved this hotel, close to Pizza San Marco, easy to get to the Grand Canal to tour by water bus, quiet hotel but close to everything....

A Perfect Stay!

Such a 1st class Hotel. Mgmt booked a private boat shuttle for us when we arrived at the airport in Venice. We were picked up immediately, taken very close to the hotel. From there a Gentleman met us, gathered our luggage and escorted us a short distance to the hotel.
We were immediately given food and drinks to relax while our rooms were made ready! We arrived early morning, hours before check-in.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Venice. Easy to walk everywhere. Comfortable rooms. Lovely touches such as afternoon tea and cake and free bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Highly recommend....

Great location and comfy bed!

Just returned from a 2 night stay here at Hotel Montecarlo.
The location is excellent, right near St Marks Square and close to the water buses to and from the airport and train station.
Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
Our room was small and even though the bed looks wonky it was the most comfortable bed!!
