Perfect location, about 10 mins stroll to Rialto, 15 to St Marks Square. The hotel is pleasant, with excellent staff. Spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds. 4 stars instead of 5, for three reasons. Only one electric point for chargers etc that I could find in the room. Steep marble staircases making this a poor choice for anybody with even mildly impaired mobility. WiFi didn't work in our rooms....

Absolutely Loved this hotel. Out whole venice holiday was lovely but this was definitely a place you could come back and relax. The bed was so comfy, bathroom lovely and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. We had breakfast every morning which was lovely. Pancake with chocolate where unreal! Highly recommend. Its located perfectly for you to be able to venture out and see all the sights and hot spots, amazing food EVER...

We stayed at Hotel Santa Marina in Venice for two nights in June 2025, but I wouldnt recommend it. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many main attractions, which is a plus. However, the room was underwhelming, while clean, it felt dated and in need of renovation and better maintenance.

The hotel is well located in the center of Venice, with charming and charismatic rooms that reflect the citys character. While the room was well-equipped overall, there are a few things to be aware of. The rooms face the street, which means it can get quite noisy at night. Additionally, the lack of charging points near the bedside tables or desk was inconvenient, especially for modern travelers with multiple devices...

This is a remarkable gem hidden away from the busier sections of the city. The receptionists were very helpful because we confused the words "Costello" and "Castello." The hotel is located in the neighborhood "Castello." I was wandering around the Santa Marina Formosa square, called, and I found the hotel in two minutes. We worked through that and had a great time.
