The hotel is an old palazzo which shows throughout the whole place. It sits in a quiet part but still close enough to all the sights and it is surrounded by restaurants. On the 2nd floor there is a nice lounge area. When you enter the hotel the reception area is quite nice and you'd expect the same in other areas of the hotel. Very attentive and friendly! Anticipated our every need! Made my daughters birthday special with special treats! Very delicious breakfast buffet! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful experience in luxury! Love this place!...

The location of the hotel, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and the room itself was all excellent. The breakfast choices were also superb. The only slight negative was the shower head spurted water everywhere and needed replacing. Also, the whirl pool bath only worked on the first usage. We mentioned both things when we left as we loved tge room view so much we didn't want to be offered a differen...

Was put in a building 120 meters away from main hotel,no view,no mini bar,no milk,shower not working,radiator in bathroom not working, receptionist did not understand our complaints,cold room had to have heating on 24c to get room warm,this building has no personality at all,no replies to emails asking about boat service from hotel...

Well located, nice room, helpful staff, great public room and balcony on canal. We went for New Year and wanted to be well located for the fireworks. I doubt you can see them from the hotel, but less than 5 minutes walk to them. I knocked a point off for a 4* hotel not having their bar open.....so not even 3* for facilities.
