I booked my son a room here as a reward for his hard work during his study abroad semester. I thought I was doing him a favor by upgrading him from a hostel, but I was wrong. When he arrived, his AC and shower were broken, he had tea bags but no teapot, and there wasn't a TV despite being listed as an amenity on their website. He didn't really care because hes a teenager and didn't plan to spend much time in the roo...

Worst Hotel to stay in Venice

We booked our trip to Venice via TUI, covering Ryanair flight and hotel booking at Liassidi Palace Hotel for 4 nights in total. Will be reviewing for TUI separately, but this review will mainly focus on our hotel experience. Venice as you imagine

Fantastic hotel right on a small canal. We had a ground floor room and when windows were open you could see water taxis and gondolas going past. Restaurants on other side of canal sometimes had accordion player adding to atmosphere.
Short walk to St Marks Square over a few lovely little bridges.
Staff were all very helpful and courteous.

Not a 4 star hotel / separate building

Peculiar. Says hotel but in a different block 2 streets away. Which is basically apartment block. It is mixed use building. Therefore more air b&b, could not use any hotel facilities, in fact apart from walking in, passport given then out onto street to other building. No idea what hotel is like.
Day 1 fine- had shampoos,conditioner, water. Day 2 nothing replenished. Day 3 called to request at 8 am.arroved back at 9...
