Lovely family run hotel. The decor was very Venetian which is what we were looking for. The hotel is beautiful and has a lovely outside area for breakfast or drinks. The owners collect art and other items which are beautifully displayed throughout the hotel. The staff are brilliant....

We have just returned from a fantastic 4-night stay at the Metropole Venice and would happily stay here again.
From the moment we arrived by water taxi, the experience felt special. We were met at the hotels canal entrance by the reception team, checked in efficiently, and our luggage was taken directly to our room. We were personally shown to our room and given a thorough introduction to its features.

It is really a unique hotel which makes the guests as a part of the renaissance history. Amazing artcollections from folding fans, crucifixes, book stoppers and selective artificats as well as paintings. Each corner carries a touch from Vivaldi whom composed 4 seasons and Proust, Freud whom were regulars.
