A beautiful hotel between two canals. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished; also, blissfully quiet. The wakeup call came exactly as promised -- via knocks on the door, not a telephone call! The lobby is a feast for the eyes, and has much more comfortable seating than is typical of most hotel lobbies -- hence very suitable for a pre-cruise touring group. A wonderful hotel with warm & welcoming staff. Very classy and elegant interior with the unusual bonus (for Venice) of a tranquil garden to enjoy. The Hotel is in a quiet area but well connected with boat services to anywhere in the area....

My husband and I had an awful experience here, unfortunately. Our room was filled with countless mosquitos. Any time we were in our room, we chased mosquitos. Each night, we stayed awake late trying to rid our room of these bugs so we could eventually go to sleep.
