We stayed at San Clemente Palace for three nights October 2,3, and 4 in 2025. We were with Vikings pre-cruise extension in Venice. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. A most interesting island setting, full of charm. Gracious and attentive staff. A very comfortable room with an unforgettable view across the lagoon. Breakfasts were sumptuous. My stay was great. This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting. I ate in the bar and it was very good. the Tiramasu is the best I have ever had. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I walked around the island and there are a lot of beautiful sites to see....

A true palace in its own island. Close and at same time far away from crowded city

The lush, expansive gardens are simply unmatched, as are the activities on offer from cycling around the island and reading while watching the sunset, to playing tennis or taking peaceful walks. Its an experience thats almost impossible to find anywhere else in Venice.

Service appalling but food okay. Waited over half an hour for a drink and people who arrived after got served before. Staff and manager not good, headless chickens???? On an island so nowhere else to go!!...
