This was my 11th trip to Venice and first time at this hotel. Ive previously stayed at the Cipriani and this hotel doesnt compare. The pool has no service, no atmosphere and the chairs are not very comfortable. The hotel felt very understaffed throughout our stay. We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions.and again the hotel was fantastic.the hotel itself self is on its own island a short 10 minute boat ride laid on by the hotel every 30minutes both ways.
The rooms are large and spacious well equipped.
The food is excellent and served very well by all staff who just want to please you.
The grounds of the hotel are excellent and well maintained.

I am currently staying at the San Clemente Palace and I commend the hotel for its fantastic location, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful rooms and attentive staff.
However I am writing because I want to highlight the appalling service from the pool bar in the hope that something will be done urgently to rectify the major criticism of an otherwise excellent experience.

Amazing Hotel

What an amazing place. Genuinely exceptional in every respect. The hotel itself is one of the most beautiful I think Ive ever stayed in, and its genuinely special. Whilst there were a few niggles with the service, what really impressed me was the fact that they tried really hard to sort things out for us. So overall, a fantastic place and somewhere I really enjoyed....

We visited this hotel for the time May 2026. The location of the hotel is on a very secluded island . The hotel use to be a sanctuary for Monks . It is very beautiful and lots of Art. The rooms are very spacious and decorated nicely. The service is exceptional! I only had two issues the air conditioning was not good but they brought me two fans that helped .
